✓ Nephrotic syndrome causes a hypercoagulable state through four main mechanisms-:
Urinary loss of Antithrombin III (AT-III) impairs the inactivation of thrombin and Factor Xa, removing the body's primary anticoagulant brake.
Compensatory hepatic overproduction of procoagulants elevates plasma levels of fibrinogen, Factor V, and Factor VIII to balance low albumin.
Hypoalbuminemia induced fluid shifts cause severe intravascular volume depletion and hemoconcentration, resulting in sluggish blood flow and stasis.
Altered platelet dynamics increase free arachidonic acid and thromboxane A2 levels, driving marked platelet hyperaggregability and clot formation.

If Prasar Bharati can spend ₹15 crore a year on a DD News show featuring a star anchor, while the ISRO Chairman’s basic pay is about ₹27 lakh a year, shouldn’t we rethink our priorities? If India wants to conquer space and attract our finest scientific minds, our rewards must match our ambitions.

The government’s greed for higher tax revenues from the stock market may backfire. With investors’ wealth eroding and market sentiment deteriorating, the government may end up collecting virtually nothing from stock market transactions this year.

Frequently i write about practices in the health insurance sector, particularly regarding Care Health Insurance. Recently, a patient with severe aortic stenosis consulted me. We provided an estimated procedure cost of approximately ₹7 lakh. The patient has a base mediclaim policy of ₹5 lakh along with a ₹45 lakh top-up cover.
Because Care Health Insurance often disburses less than the sanctioned amount to our patients and doesn't pay if there is any complications ,we routinely ask for an upfront deposit. Now, the insurer is actively steering the patient toward a large corporate facility like Kokilaben Hospital, where the exact same surgery will likely cost at least ₹12- 15 lakh.
When the procedure could be completed safely for ₹7 lakh, why is the insurer willing to pay upwards of ₹15 lakh to a corporate hospital?( same valve , same sutures , same outcome , only big hospital) Who ultimately absorbs this inflated cost? Policyholders do, through steadily climbing premiums.
This is precisely why I continue to raise this issue: the growing nexus between insurance companies and large corporate chains threatens to eliminate smaller nursing homes and standalone hospitals—and policyholders are left paying the price.
Remember - I am writing again - slowly all small hospitals and Nursing home will close down - only large corporate hospitals will survive and your mediclaim premium will be exorbitantly high .

The irony of the situation is hard to miss. Those who protest in a particular fashion should not be surprised when opponents counter-protest in the same fashion. This is not a question of whose ideology is right.
It is a question of who breaks the law, and whether the State deals with all of them alike. If more than 50 men were threatening violence outside a police station, that is precisely what Section 126/170 BNSS exists for. Article 14 demands that preventive law be applied without discrimination.
