This thing is looking serious , Are you ready?
🚨 NEW: The Government's "Black Sky" contingency plans for a national water or power blackout
- Around 100 BBC staff would be deployed to run an emergency RM radio studio stocked with enough food, water and fuel to keep it running for 3 days
- The BBC would broadcast pre-written Government scripts through the studio, including how to ration water, what to do if toilets stop working and which food to eat first (see scripts below)
- Radio masts would switch to diesel generators to keep broadcasts going for up to 72 hours without electricity
- BBC teams would use satellite phones to stay in contact, with agreed meeting points and backup arrangements if those phones stop working
- They would also report from emergency centres across the UK using satellite-equipped BBC vehicles to help keep information flowing to the public
- Emergency services would have alternative ways to communicate if mobile phone networks stopped working
- The Government is putting £70m towards aircraft that could restore mobile phone and internet coverage across the UK for over a week
they’re calling uloma an undercover hijabi bc she said it’s weird for christians to tell muslims they can’t be in office and still expect muslims to vote for a christian

Nothing here contradicts her current positions. It's pretty simple: Criticism of Islam and Islamic ideals or jurisprudence is valid. Assuming the worst of people or politicians just because they are Muslims, however, is bigotry.
Uloma has her views which anyone can disagree with, normal. But one thing she’s been consistent on is her criticism of bigotry & discrimination - gender religious, tribal, or racial. I laugh at people saying she’s afraid of upsetting Muslims because she criticised islamophobia

They are justifying their selective bigotry, and then pretend not to understand her point. They will intentionally twist the story and say you are defending jihadists or "watering down" people's experience.
Many of them even have Muslim colleagues, neighbors, and mutuals.

Serious parasites. They will call the men who want their houses back Hamas fighters now

People ask why we haven’t got an Abdul El-Sayed here, well👇🏾 and of course the brilliant Hannah Spencer
Imagine if Zack had won his by-election instead of that corporate Starmer Labour candidate, how much he would have already stood up for what’s right in parliament.
There are many reasons why there are so few paths to parliament for vocal pro-Palestine socialist candidates, but lack of talent is not one of them

Our case was interrupted over 100 times. The government was not interrupted once.
I didn't hold high hopes for the British 'justice' system, but I did expect to at least have our case heard.
No matter what, we will keep fighting for actual justice to prevail.

We need the Saudi files.
Mandem are something else over there.
A rich Saudi agreed to pay Lisa Ann $10 million for s*x. She said no. She'd heard what happens to p*rn stars who say yes: locked in a room for weeks, blood drawn every day, waiting to see which girl the sheikh picks tonight. And the ones who got paid? Wait till the airport.
Lisa Ann gets the same email over and over again. Men asking how much it would cost to sleep with her.
Her answer never changes. 10 million. Sometimes 5 million. A number so big the guy would need to start a GoFundMe.
Then one day a rich guy from Saudi Arabia writes back: easy.
And Lisa Ann says no.
"We're not doing the Saudi Arabia thing. We're not going to Dubai."
Because she's heard the stories. She says she's talked to every single girl who came back.
And this is what they told her.
You don't fly out for one night. You live there. For weeks on weeks.
In a house. Locked in a room.
Every day, he tests your blood. Every single day. Even if he never actually has s*x with you.
Because he has a harem. And he decides which girl gets which night.
Usually it's a sheikh. There's a prince over there too. But according to Lisa, the girls all go over for the same person.
The pay?
"Bags on bags on bags."
Some girls came home with a quarter of a million dollars. Some came home with $100,000.
And then there were the ones who didn't want that money going through a bank. They stuffed $30,000 in cash into a backpack and tried to fly home with it.
They got busted at the airport.
"What's this for? Drop your pants."
And they lost everything.
A locked room. A blood test every morning. A bag of cash at the end, if you make it through the airport.
Lisa Ann's answer to all of it:
"Not my jam."

Backing up Fatima here……I used to be an instructor at an all women’s gym. The Muslim members would come in fully covered. In the locker room the hijabs came off and they changed into the standard workout clothes (tank tops/t-shirts/yoga pants).
Two of my friends are Muslim women and they dont wear a hijab. Their clothes come from Rent the Runway. A third friend who’s a Muslim woman wears her hijab, but her clothes aren’t so traditional to her faith, either.
Plus, look at Senator El-Sayed’s wife and Mayor Mamdani’s wife. Both Muslim, completely different fashion.
It’s a choice.
Take the time to actually get to know people and abandon your ignorance and prejudices. It’s exhausting for the rest of us.

When you listen to James Talarico, you realize that last night's results were not just a rejection of Trump and Israel's Iran war, but also a rejection of a Democratic Party led by people like Biden, Blinken, and Sullivan:
"I've never taken money from AIPAC, and I'm not taking money from AIPAC in this campaign. Seeing what's happening in Gaza makes me sick to my stomach as a teacher, as a Christian, as a human being"
This is his message, and he won in Texas!

James Talarico speaks with simple CONSCIENCE. It shouldn’t be unusual that politicians speak honestly from the head and heart. To speak the truth because you have a conscience is effortless and quiet. It makes everything easy.
"I screamed at God for the starving children, until I realised that the starving children was God screaming at me. I think God is screaming at us in Gaza right now."
- @jamestalarico
Talarico is the epitome of the new wave of Democrats that have swept the midterms elections in the US...
...but this is the counter opposite to the majority of politicians in the UK.

Nigerian maga yesterday didn't even celebrate the Christians who were elected into office. They and that Nigerian pastor immediately jumped into calling all Muslims jihadists and advocating for Muslims to be banned from elections, all because El Sayed won a democratic election.

14 Nigerian Americans won elections in the midterms, and they all ran as democrats. This was something to celebrate, but you guys didn't.
6 members of clergy who are Democrats won elections, yet you guys didn't celebrate this. Why?

This! You cannot oppress women for wearing the hijab and you cannot oppress women for not wearing the hijab. Hearing feminists say a woman must remove her hijab, you sound like the terrorist you criticize. I’m able to put on the hijab and take it off at will. I want a world where anyone can do the same.

This is so strong and clear.
You can't help but notice that if this was in the UK context - you wouldn't be able to get a single one of these sentences out without a journalist barracking the person saying it constantly.
The UK media is in quite a state.
I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points.

My hotel room was forced while I was in the Supreme Court and the jamb spilt apart. But nothing was taken, £180 cash left on the table.
Please note just in case. I am not suicidal, I have the most wonderful family and friends and many battles to fight.
