If you want the full context on why we turned down the takedown request, we wrote it all up here: blog.flokinet.is/2026/10/29/…
US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has asked Icelandic web host FlokiNET to take down a site with data on tens of thousands of employees, including ICE personnel. FlokiNET refused, citing a "legitimate" public interest. aje.news/b21ca4

Watching every Russian, Israeli, and US right-wing grifter, along with a wave of bot accounts across multiple countries, screech in unison about Tusk’s actions in Poland only further confirms that he did the right thing and who PiS really represents.
Michael retweeted
What is happening in Poland is actually very simple.
The current administration is cleaning the corruption and foreign interference left behind by the previous authoritarian government. PiS spent years undermining Polish democracy in what was a prolonged coup, packing key institutions, including the Constitutional Tribunal, with loyalists and traitors.
The authoritarian government was ousted in 2023 but democracy isn’t restored overnight. Especially when the damage is so vast. But as the current government promised, they are cleaning out the last remnants of corruption. Their only fault might be not having done it sooner.
This is an objectively democratic and necessary action if Poland wishes to remain free. But as expected, the enemies of Europe and Poland have all come out of their hiding holes. Not to protect democracy, but as a last stand to defend their last footholds in Poland.
Today we see clearly who the enemies of Poland and Europe are. It is Russia, MAGA, the anti-European crowd and their collaborators in Europe, politicians and influencers alike, all united in anything that makes Europe weaker.
The enemies of Europe and Poland will lose. We will protect our democracies. Will will preserve the European dream. We will make Europe stronger. And no amount of lies can stop us.

ICE WARNING ⚠️ 10/30 840am North Hollywood CA - Abduction with violence reported- Agents threaten bystander walking his dog with gun in his face
Lots of accounts pushing "coup" right now in Poland, but interestingly they are all known russian propaganda accounts.
However since no-one else has issued any statements, they rule the digital news space. We need to learn from this.
🚨🇵🇱COUP UNDERWAY IN POLAND!
PM Donald Tusk has just sent police to storm Constitutional Tribunal building in Warsaw in the middle of the night.
Tusk waited until President Karol Nawrocki left the country before ordering the police takeover.
Nawrocki was halfway to Senegal when he abruptly turned his plane around and rushed back to Poland to confront the unfolding crisis.
The EU, which backs Donald Tusk, has STILL NOT issued a statement on this unprecedented crisis or condemned the attempted coup.
In 1986, Gene Roddenberry said Patrick Stewart's name should "never, ever be mentioned in my presence again."
Five years later, Stewart sang and danced on the bridge of the Enterprise as a birthday surprise for him.
It was never meant to be seen. A copy survived and ended up as a DVD bonus.
RIP Sir Patrick.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

The U.S. Army is now training soldiers to dig mass battlefield graves for American troops for the first time in decades, rehearsing how to handle mass casualties as Trump's war continues.
The Army says it hasn't needed to do this on a large scale since the Korean War.

She knows. They all know. Not just about the evil being done but what they can and “can’t” say about it. It’s so nauseating and horrifying to see it laid bare so clearly.
