And this is where the “kids are expensive” convo comes into play. Where you live MATTERS, your school district MATTERS. Unfortunately it costs big money to live in an area where schools are doing what needs to be done.
The whole homeschool debate is so funny to me, cuz there’s absolutely no way on God’s green earth I’m sending my precious pride and joy to a public school when he’s 6 years old, to the ghetto ass elementary school by us where he’s gonna be around a bunch of hooligans 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, just to sit on a fucking tablet half the day, learning basic ass shit I can teach him myself or send him to homeschool group to learn
The conversation can be revisited when he’s old enough for middle school & we hopefully live in a better school district. But it just isn’t happening right now, the debates make more sense when you live in a good area with really good schools. Not everyone has that option

My mum just reminded me of when my primary school teacher called my parents and reported I was holding students hostage 😭
We received results on a math test & you know how teachers would humiliate people who did poorly? I felt so bad for them so during break time I rounded up all the students that did bad & refused to let them go on lunch break, I decided I was going to start teaching them math *by force* & some kids were crying that they wanted to go and play. I kept asking them why they wanted to play when they were failing. I even recruited a class mate to catch kids that escaped. Omg I was a terrorist 😭
Eventually some students escaped & went to report me to the principal 😔
