The issue has already been comprehensively addressed by the Task Force constituted by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Unfortunately, its recommendations have been stalled by bureaucratic hurdles within the Ministry of Finance. TTS faculty have received no salary increase since 2021 and, unlike many other public employees, they are not entitled to pension or post-retirement benefits. This prolonged injustice is undermining the future of Pakistan's highly qualified university faculty. #TTSFacultyRights

Wait is not over yet ,many anomalies in MoF notification. If universities already short of funds have to manage pay raise from their own funds then why they to needed this notification at first place . Pls remove anomalies , increase budget and link TTS salary raise with budget

University professors on the Tenure Track System had been working on frozen salaries since 2021, in the middle of rising inflation. The result? A growing risk of brain drain as top researchers and PhD holders look abroad.
Federal Minister Prof. Ahsan Iqbal took direct notice, constituting a Special Task Force to recommend competitive, market-aligned pay scales for top-tier faculty.
The recommendations have been approved.
This move reflects a clear policy conviction: you cannot build a knowledge economy without investing in those who build knowledge.
