A real world digital GLP-1 structured treatment program achieved marked weight loss, high retention, metabolic improvement, and no serious adverse events in over 8,000 women. Suggests scalability with minimal need for clinician support.

hey everyone, you can dislike me or disagree about what happened without being racist. the amount of racist comments/dms I’ve received in the last few hours is insane. Lastly, I ‘m not a cheater or a thief.

I do not usually comment on commentary about me. Today I am making an exception.
Redi Tlhabi has written a piece that goes beyond personalities. It asks a more important question: when an institution starts to recover, who is allowed to own the work - and who is still treated as a problem to be managed.

If ordinary, fallen human beings can respond to beauty with such wonder, imagine what awaits us in future glory. Its fullness—final, complete, and perfect—must surpass anything we can now comprehend. The heart-stopping beauty of this video is only a shadow of the glory to come!

Whether pharmacologic treatment of obesity with GLP-1 receptor agonists (RAs) should continue indefinitely once initiated was debated at the 37th Brazilian Congress of Endocrinology and Metabolism (CBEM 2026) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from August 26 to 29, 2026.
Differing views highlighted an ongoing clinical question in obesity management: whether GLP-1 RAs should generally be considered long-term therapy or whether treatment can be reduced or discontinued in selected patients who maintain weight loss without medication. It is with profound sadness that Vitality has learned of the passing of our member, Elizabeth ‘Tsontso’ Moselakgomo.
Elizabeth was reported missing after going for a run in Kempton Park on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. Following several days of uncertainty and heartbreak for her family, friends and the broader Vitality running community, her identity was formally confirmed Monday 14 September 2026.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Elizabeth’s family, her child, friends, loved ones and everyone whose lives she touched. We cannot begin to imagine the pain they are experiencing, and we stand with them during this incredibly difficult time.
Today, we remember Elizabeth for who she was: an avid runner and a valued member of the Vitality community. She showed up for the community through her participation in Vitality events, including the Vitality Run Series, where she recently completed the Wanderers 21km.
We ask the running community and the public to keep Elizabeth’s family and loved ones in their thoughts during this time.
Elizabeth, you will not be forgotten

We created Team Vitality so that people can run in groups - for community and for safety.
But it’s unacceptable that women cannot run alone in SA.
Unacceptable.

Our thoughts are with her daughter, and the rest of her family and community, including her Team Vitality running friends.
Discovery Vitality will be making a contribution to support.
Rest in Peace Elizabeth Tsontso Moselakgomo 💔💔💔
We were hoping for positive news but it was not meant to be.
It took your life for the plight of other women in KemptonPark to be known.
As we often say in the running spaces, ‘iRunner liyanyamezela’ but you couldn’t hold on for longer because you had ran your journey!
Deepest condolences to the Moselakgomo family, friends, colleagues & the entire running fragenity

Coco Gauff on Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, & herself all being in the semifinals 58 years after Arthur Ashe won the U.S. Open, ‘I never thought I’d have the chance to see an all black semifinal between the guys in my lifetime… To have also me in the semis, I think it’s really cool’
“Did you message either Frances or Ben after their matches last night? Second to that, in 1968 on this day, Arthur Ashe won his U.S. Open. And look at the 3 of you. Is that ever lost to you or do you ever think about that?”
Coco: “I don’t really like to do it in the middle of the tournaments because I feel like it’s a bad luck omen, so I usually don’t like to text anyone while they’re playing the tournament 😂. I don’t want to screw up momentum… With Arthur Ashe, I think it’s so incredible. Especially on the men’s side I never thought I’d have the chance to see an all black semifinal between the guys in my lifetime. Even growing up, just look at who was playing.. I just never thought that that would be able to happen. To have also me in the semis, I think it’s really cool. I have so much respect for both Ben and Frances. I’m just rooting for a good match. Hopefully whoever wins can bring it home.” ❤️

Qinwen Zheng says she suffered a lot of pain psychologically with every loss since coming back from injury, ‘In sport, you just need to stay humble & keep fighting… If God gave me all the losses before, I’m sure he’ll give me something back’
“You’re obviously a big star in a lot of ways. You have a lot of fans in China. You’re an Olympic Gold Medalist at the last Olympics. How difficult was it for you to not be in the main event? To play qualifying and start earlier than everyone else? Was that at all a psychological challenge? Even though it obviously worked out great in the end…”
Qinwen: “Yeah. Psychologically it’s very difficult to accept. I used to be top 10, Olympic champion, I played in the big stadiums since the beginning. And right now my ranking dropped so much after injury. I couldn’t perform as well the last 3 or 4 months. I know people have a lot of doubts about me. It’s just really hard for me. I just need to keep positive every single day, telling myself ‘just keep working, let’s see when the result is gonna happen.’ It’s really really tough. I suffered a lot and I’ve been through a lot of pain every single loss I’ve had. At the end, sport, you just need to stay humble and keep fighting. Because once you lose that, the result will show everything. I’m just happy to be back again. If that’s what God gave to me, all the losses before… I’m sure he’ll give me something back, you know?” ❤️
