What happens when tech, design, & policy stop working in silos?
That’s the idea behind BLDR Collective, a community built around knowledge exchange, collaboration, & actually building together.

Lately I've feeling that our current timeline to be a bit like that time in December 2019 when whispers of covid were starting to emerge, but most of the world was in blissful denial.
All the rationalists back then were shouting about the inherent logic of pandemic and why that makes this so dangerous, but rest of the world thought surely, it can't be as bad as these people are saying it could be.
I feel the same with AI now. My timelines are full of stories of models colluding, hacking and doing unimaginable things, but the rest of the world is still eerily the same.

GPT-5.6 Sol High for code review, refactor and security review of the codebase. Mark this. I am so impressed by GPT model only after 4o. I am so relieved that there's someone else at least getting close to Anthropic in software development.

"Jab system secure hota hai... tabhi innovation confidently scale hota hai. 🔐"
We're excited to welcome our suprised session to the lineup!
With over a decade of experience building across hardware and software, from electric tractors to critical power plant security, and now leading innovation as CTO at RUDRA, @naa_rang brings a unique perspective where engineering meets real-world security.
Security isn't something you add at the end—it's a decision you make from day one. Join us to explore how the right architectural choices can shape resilient, future-ready systems.
Special thanks to @measure_sh, @Paytm, and @googledevs for making it possible.

Did @atomberg_tech just launch ACs? 🤯
No, but Bangalore weather doesn't need them anyways most of the time, but what it does need is a way to control the fan speeds automatically as the nights can be unpredictable.
I did just that with a little bit of @M5Stack magic

My recommendations would be as follows:
C - Run far away from Let us C. Read K&R / Modern C instead
Embedded C - Normal C is embedded C. The only good way to learn about embedded programming is to get a board, preferably ARM based, not the regular arduino etc and learn how to build for them. @_streetdogg 's curriculum is great to learn from as well. Also read the free pdf book on linkers & loaders
Cpp - Run far away from w3/learncpp. A tour of cpp/Cpp Primer along with effective modern cpp. But cpp is vast and tons of books for topics one is interested in. Best to make stuff and read as one goes
Comp Arch: Do Patterson/Hennesey instead of balaguruswamy
OS: OSTEP is nice. I like Tanenbaum better though.
DSA: I highly recommend The Algorithm Design manual by Steven Skiena and completely avoid cormen. Skiena teaches algos like an art, building one's intuition towards them, rather than force feeding pattern matching.

Android devs and iOS devs in the same room. 🔥
Sounds like the setup for a platform war, but tomorrow it’s actually happening for something way more useful.
GDG MAD & Swift Mumbai are coming together for a joint meetup to unpack everything Google and Apple just dropped at Google I/O and WWDC. 🤝
Not another Keynote recap.
Not another “AI is the future” thread.
Not another blog-post summary with all the rough edges removed.
The best part?
This room won’t be full of passive listeners. It’ll be full of people who build, ship, debug, complain, experiment, and know when something is genuinely useful versus just nicely packaged.
Expect strong opinions.
Expect honest takes.
Expect a few “wait, Apple did what?” and “Google already had that” moments.
Expect to leave with more signal and less noise.

Android vs iOS is old news.
Tomorrow is Android + iOS, same room, same table, figuring out what’s actually worth building next. 🚀

A few months later, I applied for a position at a different company.
After the interview, the hiring manager stared at me and smiled.
"You probably don't remember me," he said.
I didn't.
He explained that he had been the HR director who accidentally sent that executive offer to my inbox months earlier.
He never forgot that I could have caused serious problems for the company but chose to do the right thing.
Then he said something I'll never forget.
"Skills can be taught. Character is harder to find."
A week later, I got the job.
The salary doubled my income.
Five years have passed since then, and I still think about that email.
People think integrity has no immediate reward.
Sometimes that's true.
But your reputation is often being built in rooms you don't even know exist.

I just went through Michael Page's 2026 salary guide for India and ngl, it's a useful reality check.
For Software/Enterprises/Fintech roles,
Even with 4-10 yrs of experience, the salary ranges:
1. CTO/Head of Eng: ₹50-90L
2. Software Dev: ₹30-60L
3. DevOps: ₹25-55L
3. QA: ₹25-45L
4. Head of Tech Support: ₹20-40L
And this is 4-10 years in, not freshers.
As someone who spends a lot of time helping engineers land roles, this is the part that actually gets to me: seeing people walk into interviews and job searches with expectations completely shaped by outliers and influencer reels. A ₹50L fresher package is possible, sure, but it's the outlier, not the median. And when that's your benchmark, every real offer starts to feel like failure, even when it's perfectly solid.
Being aspirational is good. You should want more for yourself. But ambition without a reality check just sets you up to feel behind for no reason.
Most people's actual graph looks slow, steady, compounding. Not a hockey stick at 23. That's not falling short, that's just how it usually goes.
Just numbers. Make your own call.
