Imperials according to Nords: oh my divines... men against men... no more brother wars
Imperials irl: did you read the Twin Lamps article on slavery? My Argonian officer told me to read it. Talos ordered us to burn Windhelm btw. Don't tell the Thalmor, they're next. Heil Septim.

You can just tell from this picture that she had some sort of theater kid try hard bit. that led to her winning over her more accurate but less annoying competition. Many such cases

that’s not what I said dipshit. The movie is a solid 7/10, I am aware of why people like him and the general appeal.
However, the movie is not a masterpiece. It’s not even close. Explain why you think it is. You can’t.
You want to feel smart but you are sub 130iq so you need to defer to others to determine aesthetic value judgments

I really loathe this presentation of hyper-sincerity. It repels me.

She had like 2.5 seconds of regret. Maybe less.
I went into this movie thinking Seyfried was a horrible human being from some online chatter. GOOD GOD, she’s the fricking Emotional Whisperer giving humanity to Holmes. I became a Seyfried-Stan overnight.
Rightists live in a parallel universe where everyone agrees with them and sees the tweets they see

It was a really good moment of displaying bubble culture. Like he thinks it was this big unified undeniable moment because he thinks his social media bubble is the whole world.

What makes this depressing is that it theoretically met NIMBY criteria.
Aesthetic, built with local stone, provides cheap groceries during a cost-of-living crisis. All built *literally* on an empty grass field.
But, no dice. They don't actually want to build anything at all.

Hard agree. We can see Nathan doing bits and stunting on them for their entire screen time, then the movie goes "omg what if they were friends and he cares for her."
Like no I don't buy it. It makes for an interesting metanarrative but its clearly not that true.

Matè and the GZ crew are happy Trump won.
Aaron Maté, talking about Trump's willingness to make deals with Putin, says that Trump "is not a diehard neocon, unlike everyone surrounding him and most people in Washington."
You can't say that while ignoring that Trump has waged war, overthrown the government of Venezuela, and frequently threatens other countries.

He is proposing assimilation by saying this as a provincial premier. The provinces are the nemesis of First Nations. @WabKinew is at direct odds with the First Nations people of Canada. He is stealing First Nations children into foster care while also stealing their resources.
Abolish the Indian Act. We have nothing to lose but our chains.
We will, of course, need new legislation that is an interface between the Federal government and First Nations. And this MUST be created alongside Chiefs and First Nation governments every step of the way. But it is time to move past the era of this outdated, racist, and patriarchal legislation.
I support Prime Minister Carney’s work to position Canada as a global leader in human rights and democracy. The Indian Act is inconsistent with achieving that vision.
Our laws at home should reflect the values we champion around the world.
It’s time for a relationship with First Nations people that reflects who we are as Canadians today, recognizes nationhood, and lives up to the true nature of reconciliation.
