Two coin tosses did take place in this election. In Ward 5, Ba-Phalaborwa, Limpopo, ActionSA won a coin toss in a tied ward over the ANC. And in Ward 17, Steve Tshwete, Mpumalanga, the SACP won the coin toss in a tied ward, again at the expense of the ANC.

No Prof, Helen Zille is not entitled to mayorship. The DA (her party) had to win 50% plus 1 for her to be guaranteed EM. The DA did not win an outright majority in the CoJ. The EM that eventually emerges will solely depend on coalition talks and final negotiation outcomes thereof! You don't have to like it but that's just how the cookie crumbles here!
