This apology from disability charity Scope, for cancelling my choirβs London Marathon performance because of my gender-critical views, is required to stay on its website for seven days.
Today is Day 6.
Women donβt always get the apologies they deserve. So Iβd be grateful if you could help make sure this one is seen by sharing it over the next 24 hours (link below). π
Thanks again to @SpeechUnion for supporting my legal case and helping secure this apology.

When you hear the term βprogressive politicsβ, be sure you understand what it means.
The bill to which Duffield refers would have been considered utterly Orwellian not too long ago. Itβs now considered βprogressiveβ.
Itβs a bill that could potentially criminalise parents for trying to prevent their children from making life-ruining decisions.
In truth, itβs Trojan horse legislation designed to protect a harmful and regressive ideology from any challenge by those who love children the most: their parents.
One might have thought this insane and authoritarian bill would be the lead story on every news bulletin. But large parts of the media, including my employer, the BBC, have been utterly captured by gender ideology, with its adherents occupying every tier of the editorial hierarchy.
Progressivism has become cult-like: it brooks no dissent, tolerates no divergence of opinion, punishes those who stray and takes every opportunity to tighten its grip and enforce adherence.
Those of us who remain independent of thought must continue to fight this movement without complacency or compromise.
Real harm is being caused to the voiceless and vulnerable.
Another meeting with expert psychotherapists, academics and experienced parents discussing the many potential harms of the terrible #CPBill #conversionbill. Some of us Parliamentarians have been steeped in this for several years, yet the Bill is being led through the House by those new MPs who had an agenda to push it as Labour Party activists and staffers. One drafted it, one is Chairing - and was the Head of Investigations against women like me. Women like me would have been blocked from joining the Bill Committee as a Labour MP, I have zero chance of getting near it and contributing now. Won't stop me finding other platforms to speak against it though, obviously...

If people want to know why the fourth estate rounded on Arday in the way it did, itβs because of this. When Jack approached Arday for comment on the plagiarism allegations, Arday reported him to the police and set Carter-Ruck on him. For doing his job. Once Nathan Cofnas broke the story in a blog, Jack told of Ardayβs actions towards him and the other journalists took notice. You donβt threaten journalists without triggering repercussions. They started digging. It wasnβt a hit-job by the right-wing press. The most damning revelations were published by The Atlantic and The Guardian.

Recognition from fellow journalists is much appreciated as this is undoubtedly a difficult and polarising story, with a tragic outcome. Many people still do not accept its legitimacy but it was an important public interest story which sparked public debate about key issues of our age timeshighereducation.com/opiβ¦

Standard trans"woman"
White
Middle-aged
Often with more than one paraphilic disorder (voyeurism, frotterism, exhibitionism, pedophilia, etc.)
Misogynist reduction of womanhood to hyper-sexualized, submissive, etc., stereotypes
Excalation of behaviors for same sexual thrill

The irony is that shes annoyed the gender critical movement is growing, when that's exactly what you'd expect a movement to do.
Personally, I don't think it should even be a movement. Movements imply a niche cause that you have to identify with, when this should be something everyone can get behind. Women don't have penises. Children shouldn't be sterilised. Why should those positions belong to one particular political tribe?
From the veganist, sandal-wearing, crystal-loving, sourdough-making Green voting hippie to the biggest frog-marching, far-right, fascist-bookshop-buying Nazi, everyone should be able to agree on these things, otherwise whats the point.
The aim should be to get more people on board, not to complain that more people are joining.

The woke Left has performed a miracle. They rejected organized religion, declared traditional morality outdated, and then invented a new religion complete with sacred beliefs, forbidden words, original sin, public confessions, and heresy trials.
Their commandments?
Thou shalt not question the narrative.
Thou shalt confess thy privilege.
Thou shalt trust the experts, but only the approved ones.
Thou shalt celebrate diversity of everything except opinion.
Thou shalt think critically, provided thou reachest the correct conclusion.
Congratulations! Youβve escaped religious dogma and replaced it with political dogma.
Same unquestioning obedience. Different priesthood.
Iβll stick with reason, evidence, individual liberty, and a healthy dose of Stoic scepticism.

If anyone is under the illusion that the current day βleftβ is anything recognizable of a left wing political party prior to 2020, I do believe that youβre under some sort of spell.
There are millions of leftists who are treading water in a vast sea of extremism (both sides).

I donβt care if someone calls me a βtransphobeβ.
In fact, Iβve reached the point where I take it as a compliment.
Because itβs increasingly used to describe women who stand up for their sex-based rights. And the men who support them.
Why would I be insulted by that?
But while Iβm not offended by the word, I am wary of people who use it.
Because it tells me something about their priorities.
That they believe menβs identities and feelings matter more than the safety, privacy and dignity of women and girls.
And thatβs not someone whose judgement Iβd be inclined to trust.

The idea of the βtrans childβ is the greatest scandal of our lifetime, nothing else even comes close.
Feelings over facts. Ideology before common sense.
A medical nightmare steeped in idiocy and negligence.
Itβs strange, isnβt it? When we talk about the Post Office scandal, everyone agrees it was a horrific series of miscarriages of justice. Innocent people had their lives and reputations destroyed. Some were imprisoned. Some took their own lives. Others died still living under the cloud of false accusations.
Whistleblowers were ignored. Alarm bells rang. Politicians put their fingers in their ears. And the suffering continued.
Nobody disputes that this was a terrible scandal.
But what if I told you that another horrifying scandal is unfolding right now, one that is arguably even worse?
What if I told you that vulnerable children are being harmed, their lives irrevocably changed by healthcare professionals following an ideology promoted by government, the media, schools and corporations?
And that, despite the evidence being publicly available, most people have little idea of the scale of the harm, how many children have already been affected or how many continue to be harmed?
How many people know that @nickwallis, the investigative journalist who played a pivotal role in exposing the Post Office scandal, is now investigating this issue, believing itβs a βhugeβ story.
Iβm talking, of course, about trans ideology. The brainwashing of vulnerable children into believing there are multiple genders, that they may have been born in the wrong body, and that life-altering medication or even surgery might make them happier.
This has been going on for years, and it is happening now.
The BBC has been front and centre in promoting this ideology. A generation of young people has been encouraged to believe that biological sex is irrelevant and that what really matters is their gender βidentityβ.
The harms are manifold. Yet because so much of the progressive left has invested in this ideology, the truth is emerging painfully slowly. Those who raise safeguarding concerns are too often dismissed or vilified rather than heard.
Just as with the Post Office scandal, I believe the full horror will explode into the public consciousness in the years ahead. But this time, the responsibility will be far more widely spread.
If you care about children, particularly the most vulnerable, you should care about this.
This isnβt simply about men using womenβs toilets, although the subjugation of biological womenβs rights and safeguards to the demands of trans-identifying men is appalling in itself.
Itβs about vulnerable children, the adults who are supposed to protect them, and the irreversible consequences of putting ideology ahead of safeguarding.
The harm being inflicted on children in the name of trans ideology is unforgivable.
