The answer lies in the underlying forces driving its promotion. The root of socialism is not simply economic policy—it is ideological subversion. It thrives where faith in the nation’s founding principles is weakened and where people are persuaded to distrust freedom in favor of dependency. Socialism spreads by exploiting dissatisfaction, envy, and division, slowly replacing self-reliance and liberty with promises of control and equality that never materialize As President Kennedy warned, if we fail to recognize and study these motivations, we will miss the true root of the threat.
