It's disgusting that Canadians can't vote in American elections. Some Americans live in Canada and can vote in our elections, while some Canadians live here and can't vote.
American politics affect Canada immensely. When will this disgusting Apartheid end?

Putting aside all the other nasty and disturbing elements of this video, I’m continually stunned by how effortlessly El-Sayed lies. It comes as naturally to him as breathing.
He didn’t vote for Kamala Harris in the last presidential primary because she wasn’t running! And Abdul himself was helping the Uncommitted movement organize opposition to the Biden-Harris ticket.
WOW this exchange.
@BretBaier tried to give Abdul El-Sayed a chance to finally explain the 2012 letter in support of the Muslim Brotherhood and Abdul awkwardly tries to speak over him.
This flailing defensiveness is why we’re on week 3 on this issue.

It may seem like an exaggeration to say that Elon Musk is shoring up Western Civilization, but I don't think it is.
In a nutshell, Western Civilization is built on freedom, with free speech in particular as its bedrock. If that liberty "means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear," to quote George Orwell.
Now remember back just a few years ago, before Elon bought Twitter. All major social media companies had bowed to government and activist pressure to heavily censor any right leaning speech that the left didn't like. Woke madness, cancel culture, and DEI were all at their height.
Then in steps Elon and buys Twitter. Amidst predictions that it would be the end of the company, Elon forged it into the only place where you could actually find out the truth. More importantly, where you could speak the truth without fear of having your account suspended.
What's occurred in the relatively short time since has been nothing short of magnificent. X has become a truely global town square where people can actually speak. Where you can bypass the legacy media and find out what's actually happening, and where you can criticize and resist the forces trying to turn freedom into totalitarianism.
Of course, many governments still go after their citizens for what they post here, Britain being the worst offender in the so called free world. But we hear about it, instead of it being swept under the rug. And knowing the truth is the first step towards saving the West.
To say that I'm worried so much rests on one man is an understatement. In many ways, the future of the West has never been so fragile. But I hope that what Elon has built, and continues building is robust enough that it can carry on regardless. God bless Elon Musk!

Here is a sneak preview of what being a "Jewish Democrat" will come to mean as the El-Sayeds and their allies come to power.
You squirm. You cower---you literally cower, and we see here. You produce sad videos like this that seem as if they came from the last Jews in Baghdad or Yemen, beaten-down, pathetic old men.
You beg for the Islamofascist rulers to "protect" the humbled remnants of Jewry.
You lose every shred of dignity.

We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too.
We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries.
That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next.
Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells.
Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it.

You know that is hyperbole on your part. The case being highlighted is an example of the consequences of extended TPS where there was no orderly migration under controlled circumstances.
TPS means the condition of the home country is considered "Temporary." When the condition is chronic, no matter how bad that might be, TPS no longer applies. THAT is their home country, and the US doesn't become a substitute to avoid chronic problems of their home country.
If that was true then every economic migrant anywhere in the would would claim an entitlement to come to the US to escape the "chronic" poverty/violence/persecution/etc., of their place of birth.

The name of our country is -
the Unites STATES of America.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Scrap the Electoral College. The presidential election is the one race where we as American citizens vote to decide the direction of the entire nation. We are all equal. No one’s vote in one state should ever count more than someone else’s in another. A candidate can lose the popular vote and still win the White House. Most states get ignored while a few swing states decide everything. A national popular vote would finally match the majority. Still defending an antiquated system that ignores the most ballots?

Vance's core constituency is anti-Semitic. He does nothing to alienate those who share his malice towards Jews. To the contrary, Vance routinely bolsters their confidence that he views Jews with contempt. He is not just "a little bit anti-Israel". He is "a whole lot anti-Israel".
🇺🇸🇮🇱 WATCH - Fox & Friends' on VP Vance declining to endorse Netanyahu - "Seems to be a little bit anti-Israel":
"He went out of his way to say, even though the president endorsed Bibi Netanyahu, I am not… That's interesting, because the rap on him is he seems to be a little bit anti-Israel. Unforced error… There's no reason to say that. Because you know who he did vote for? He went to campaign for Viktor Orban in Hungary, so you can't say, I don't worry about other people's elections," Kilmeade said.
Co-host Lawrence Jones added, "Viktor Orban in Hungary, who lost. Disappointed."

The French are beginning to understand what the Jews have been forced to learn a long time ago - what begins with a makeover becomes a takeover and diplomacy isn’t an option when fighting for the future of civilization.

JD Vance: "Because I disagree with what Tucker has said about Abdul El Sayed I am going to disavow him, I am never going to that... it's disloyal."
Okay, but what about the other things Tucker Carlson has said and done? Would any of these override whatever paramount oath of loyalty Vance has sworn to him?
1. Claiming Hitler was better than Churchill.
2. Calling a Holocaust denier his “favourite historian.”
3. Claiming Jews are an impostor race.
4. Promoting white nationalism and white supremacy.
5. Blaming Jews for Charlie Kirk’s murder by a pro trans radical.
6. Campaigning on behalf of the IRGC.
7. Shilling for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
8. Spreading demented lies about Israel, Jews and 9/11.
9. Promoting racists Nick Fuentes and Ian Carroll.
10. Accusing Vance’s boss of being the Antichrist.
11. Claiming it would have been better for the UK not to fight Germany in WWII.
Would any of those, in theory, be even worse than supporting El Sayed?

Tucker Carlson is the largest purveyor of Hitler apologia in the United States. To act, as Vance does, like Carlson's most controversial view is opposing the Iran war is a slap in the face to every American who fought the Nazis and is beneath the office of the Vice President.
JD Vance on Tucker Carlson:
Tucker, obviously, one of the reasons he's very, very angry is over the Iran war. He does not like the Iran war.
He and I have had that conversation in private, in public. I know how he feels, and I understand.
What I've said to Tucker is, "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater."

This is an excellent teaching opportunity.
The reason this post uses "explicit" in "explicit endorsements" is because every Democrat president in the last 30 years has interfered in Israeli elections to try to defeat Netanyahu but they'd say, and indeed they brag, that they did so implicitly.
In 1996, President Clinton interfered for Peres against Netanyahu. Clinton organized a peace summit, visited Israel, and hosted Peres at the White House, a visit that included the signing of a counterterrorism declaration. In 2018, Clinton was asked whether he had tried to help Peres win, and he said he only did so implicitly: "That would be fair to say. I tried to do it in a way that didn't overtly involve me."
For the 2015 election, President Obama's State Department poured $350k into OneVoice, which built databases, social media platforms, and GOTV capacity in Israel. They deployed that infrastructure to support an anti-Netanyahu election campaign by a suborganization called V15.
In 2024, Senate Majority Leader Schumer called for Israeli elections to remove Netanyahu from the prime ministership. President Biden publicly praised Schumer's speech, saying Schumer had expressed concerns shared by Americans, but left the explicit electoral call unsaid.
Just days before Israel’s October 27 election, President Trump has unequivocally endorsed Prime Minister Netanyahu.
In one fell swoop, Trump has broken with the longstanding U.S. practice of avoiding explicit endorsements in Israeli elections—and gone further, warning that the U.S. would not join Israel in confronting Iran if Israelis choose anyone but Netanyahu. It is up to the Israeli people to choose their own leader and threatening that the US will walk away from the conflict with Iran is beyond stunning.
Moreover, Hungary demonstrated that a Trump endorsement is no electoral guarantee. Despite Trump’s backing and VP Vance campaigning in Budapest, Viktor Orbán lost by nearly 15 points, ending 16 years in power.
Nor have Netanyahu’s popular military successes against Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Iran’s Ali Khamenei appreciably moved the electoral needle. Likud won 32 seats in 2022; polls now routinely put it at just 20–22.
The ultimate test is assembling a 61-seat Knesset majority. Yet Netanyahu appears more focused on preventing an Eisenkot-led coalition from reaching that threshold than on demonstrating a viable path to 61 seats himself.

There are broadly three possible explanations for the Trump administration’s tolerance of its vice president, Vance, openly fraternising and name dropping every enemy of Trump, foreign agents, and Jew-haters. The answer will be known in a few weeks and will determine the long-term sustainability of American Jewry:
1. Trump is using Vance, who is in on the deal, to keep the far right in his camp through the midterms, and Vance will find a way to backtrack.
2. Trump is using Vance to mop up far-right voters, but Vance is not in on this plan. He has been assured that everything is OK, but he is going to get crushed by Trump after the midterms, or perhaps even used as a whipping boy and saddled with the blame for the defeat, ending his presidential hopes.
3. Trump really is totally fine with all this, or simply doesn’t care enough.
If it’s answer 3, things are going to be very rough for Jews in the USA, since not only does it mean that antisemitism is now truly normalised on the left and the right, but it also means that in 2028 they will likely face a choice between Vance and his Democratic counterpart. If Vance—an epically terrible and fringe candidate—comes to be seen as inevitable, the Democrats will feel comfortable nominating a candidate who is only slightly less fringe.
