Holy shit
Just in: France's Prime Minister asked telecom companies to prepare to block social media platforms. "I wish to have the ability to temporarily suspend access to these services in case of a repeat of urban violence," he wrote. @blast news broke the story.

If there is such a thing as a “sex dysphoria”, which really is just a body dysmorphia, then the last place man who has it would want to be is in a women’s change room. The difference in his body to women’s bodies would be, by sheer definition of the condition, extremely distressing.
Yet men who claim to be women on the basis of a “dysphoria” want nothing more than to be in the women’s change room & are delighted by it. They’re even unbothered by the distress their presence causes women, and flaunt their maleness.
This can only be because they are not experiencing any kind of dysphoria/dysmorphia. Instead, they have a sexual fetish, including voyeurism, and their own behavior proves it.
Once a man tells the lie that he is a woman, don’t expect the truth about anything else.

To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad:
Do not blame the French people for this.
We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no.
Here are the numbers your media won't show you.
70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today.
79% want a tougher immigration policy.
77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration.
83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home.
And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years.
This is not a fringe. This is the French people.
In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again.
That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway.
So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations.
In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders.
It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed.
What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it.
The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did.
So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this."
The French never chose this.
They were forced into it.
If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us.
If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.

I am suing my doctors for transitioning me starting as a minor in the state of North Carolina.
A New York jury just awarded $2 MILLION to a young woman who underwent a double mastectomy at 16 and later detransitioned.
The jury found her psychologist and surgeon liable for malpractice.
Her case alleged that serious mental-health issues, including depression, body dysmorphia, anorexia and autism-spectrum traits, were not adequately addressed before an irreversible procedure was performed on a minor.
Now watch what happens when someone like her speaks publicly.
For years we were told regret was exceedingly rare. We were told these procedures were necessary care. We were told questioning the process itself was dangerous.
But when a detransitioner stands up and says, “This happened to me,” suddenly she becomes the problem.
That is the epistemic tell.
When evidence supports the narrative, it is celebrated.
When evidence contradicts the narrative, the person carrying the evidence gets attacked.
A jury heard the testimony. A jury examined the evidence. A jury found malpractice. And a jury put the damages at $2 million.
You don’t protect vulnerable young people by demanding silence from the ones who came back and said, “I wish someone had slowed this down.”
You protect them by listening.

Finally.
The mainstream media has realized there is nothing "safe" about "safe supply."
Taxpayer-funded opioids are being diverted onto the streets, sold to buy fentanyl, and ending up in the hands of young Canadians.
Flooding our communities with addictive opioids was never compassionate.
Enabling hard drug use and calling it "harm reduction" was never safe.
Left-wing politicians tried to guilt Canadians into accepting and normalizing drug use while dismissing anyone who dared challenge their radical experiment.
Now the consequences are impossible to ignore.
History will rightfully condemn the radical left-wing politicians who pushed drug-enablement policies that fuelled addiction and unleashed drugs and disorder on our streets.

George Orwell, Thomas Sowell, Friedrich Hayek and Frédéric Bastiat give you four excellent tools for cutting through Canadian political language.
Orwell: Watch the words.
Sowell: Ignore intentions. Examine results and trade-offs.
Hayek: Be suspicious when politicians think they possess enough knowledge to manage millions of people’s decisions from the centre.
Bastiat: Look beyond what you can immediately see. Ask what the policy costs, what it prevents, and what would have happened otherwise.
Apply those four tests to Canadian politics.
“Affordability” can mean spending more government money, cutting a tax, sending you a cheque, controlling a price or subsidizing something.
Orwell asks: What does “affordability” actually mean here?
Sowell asks: Does the policy really make Canadians better off after all the costs are counted?
Hayek asks: How does Ottawa know the right price, subsidy, industry or investment for millions of different Canadians?
Bastiat asks: What don’t we see? What would taxpayers, businesses and families have done with that money instead?
“Investment” sounds better than “government spending.”
Fine. Investment in what? How much? Who decided? Who takes the loss if it fails?
“Compassion” describes an intention.
It doesn’t tell you whether a program works.
“Fairness” sounds unquestionably good.
But fairness to whom? Who pays more? Who receives more? What behaviour does the policy encourage?
“Common sense” is another slogan until somebody explains the actual policy.
“Corporate greed” can describe genuine misconduct, but it can also become a convenient explanation that ignores taxes, regulation, wages, competition, monetary policy, supply constraints and government decisions.
“Crisis” may describe a real emergency.
It can also create the political urgency needed to push through measures that would receive much more scrutiny under ordinary circumstances.
“Misinformation” should mean a factual claim that can be demonstrated to be false. It should never become shorthand for “an argument we don’t want to answer.”
“Dangerous” tells you somebody wants you to fear an idea.
Ask for the evidence.
And when somebody calls an argument “simplistic,” ask them to identify exactly what is wrong with it. Sometimes a simple argument is wrong. Sometimes the complicated language is there because the simple question is uncomfortable.
This applies to Liberals, Conservatives, New Democrats, premiers, bureaucracies, CBC, private media, corporations, unions and people on social media.
It also applies to the politicians you like.
Especially the politicians you like.
Strip away the language and ask:
What is actually being proposed?
What will it cost?
Who pays?
Who benefits?
What incentives does it create?
What knowledge would government need to make this work?
What consequences aren’t immediately visible?
What would people have done with their own money and resources instead?
What evidence says the policy works?
What happens when it fails?
Orwell teaches you to examine the language.
Sowell teaches you to examine incentives, trade-offs and consequences.
Hayek teaches you the limits of centralized knowledge.
Bastiat teaches you to look for the unseen cost.
Put all four together and you have a pretty good bullshit detector for Canadian politics.

Brother, “Maple MAGA” is the tell.
You say debate is healthy, then invent a made-up American slur so you don’t have to debate. MAGA means Make America Great Again. Canada is not America. The phrase only exists to smear Canadians who blame Ottawa instead of Washington. That’s not patriotism. That’s a talking point.
If taking aim at your own country is the sin, look at the last decade. Housing got wrecked. Violent crime severity jumped. Productivity fell further behind the U.S. Federal debt roughly doubled. Immigration was cranked far past housing, hospitals, and wages, then quietly walked back after the damage was done. Pointing at that is not “national self-sabotage.” It’s noticing who was in charge.
You also flipped the institutions argument. The people who actually used the state against citizens were the Liberals. They invoked the Emergencies Act, froze bank accounts, and treated a protest as sedition. Two courts have now said that invocation was not legally justified. Mark Carney, before he was PM, wrote that the convoy was “sedition.” That’s not defending institutions. That’s stretching them until a judge has to put them back.
And “carry water for foreign adversaries” is rich coming from this era of Liberal government. A public inquiry called China the most active foreign-interference threat in Canada. Carney himself called China a top security threat. Then he went to Beijing, called it a strategic partner, and cut a deal that lets tens of thousands of Chinese EVs into Canada. If amplifying a foreign capital is the crime, start with the people who hold the file.
Nobody needs Trump to explain why rent doubled, why grocery bills hurt, or why young people can’t buy a house. Those are homemade. Trump being a chaotic neighbour doesn’t wash that away. Two things can be true: the U.S. can squeeze us, and Ottawa can still have spent years making the country weaker and then calling the people who said so traitors.
You can be pro-Canada without protecting the Liberal record. You can criticize Trump without pretending every domestic critic is an American agent. The toxic part isn’t “Maple MAGA.” It’s using a nonsense label so you never have to answer for the results.
Debate is healthy. Name-calling so the government never has to take the stand is not.

No, they are fighting to control your speech, regulate what you get to say and do online, to build a stupider, more controlled nation 🤷
Bill #C34 will destroy your ability to have free speech online. Companies will begin to censor everything because it is so broad. They do not want to be caught in regulatory capture so they will start clamping down on everything.
The goal is to ensure free speech is limited
Cabinet will press ahead with internet regulation, says Prime Minister.
Bill #C34 is 3rd attempt to regulate speech in name of “social stability.”

🇨🇦 Canada’s housing problem has an awkward twist: prices can soften enough to discourage construction without becoming affordable enough for families to buy.
CMHC warns that weak construction today could undermine affordability when demand returns.
Developers wait for better economics. Buyers wait for lower payments.
Both decisions make sense individually. Together, they can leave fewer homes for the next generation.
A housing strategy needs to close that gap.
Another slogan won’t qualify for a mortgage.
