Mayor, this is a lazy argument, and I think you know exactly what youโ€™re doing with it. Youโ€™re subtly suggesting that people support Peter Obi because he is Igbo. But why must Obiโ€™s supporters automatically abandon him for another candidate just because that person is younger? There are other younger candidates too. Why arenโ€™t you asking why people arenโ€™t voting for them? Peter Obi is not new to this political game. He has campaigned, built a national support base, contested an election, and secured millions of votes. Despite losing that election, many of those supporters remain firmly behind him. That support didnโ€™t appear overnight. Now youโ€™re comparing that established movement with someone who has only recently announced his presidential ambition few weeks ago. What exactly do you expect? That millions of people who are currently supporting Peter Obi should suddenly abandon him and transfer their loyalty to someone else? More importantly, your argument makes it seem as though anyone who isnโ€™t Yoruba or Hausa and supports Peter Obi must automatically be Igbo. Are the Igbo the only other ethnic group in Nigeria? What about Nigerians from other tribes and regions who support him? Do they simply not exist? Peter Obi has supporters across the country, and it is entirely possible that he could receive more votes from outside the South-East than from the entire South-East. That alone should tell you how lazy and misleading this ethnic framing is. Honestly, when you examine your argument intellectually, what is the actual logic behind it? What exactly are you trying to establish? That people should abandon a candidate they have supported for years simply because another candidate is younger? That because some people support Obi for ethnic reasons, everyone else must have the same motivation? Neither argument makes sense. You are someone who should know better than to promote this kind of thinking. You can disagree with people without reinforcing ethnic divisions. Your argument has no sound logical foundation, and instead of advancing a meaningful political conversation, you are giving tribalism another excuse to thrive. Mayor, you can do much better than this.
You guys said your candidate was younger and better educated than both Tinubu and Atiku so he is the best. You said voting for him is not because he is igbo, it is because he is the best. So why are you not voting Seyi Makinde? He is younger and better than your candidate and you know it..

I really do wish that Nigerians would prove to Wike that power belong to the people and not to him. For Wike to arrogantly say on Tv that he has killed Peter Obiโ€™s ambition and that he cannot win, it is a slap on the faces of the entire Nigerians.
"All these Obi kererenke thing I have killed it, Peter Obi cannot win again, Obi's wave has died" โ€”Wike This man's downfall and disgrace will be televised in 2027.

Hi Everyone, please I need your help. Iโ€™ve battled Keloid since I was 2 as a result of the first ear piercing which was done at birth and was done wrongly. My parents have gone through several options given to them and it keeps reoccurring. Iโ€™ve done several surgical removal that I canโ€™t even keep count both in general hospitals and private hospitals and they always finish up with kenalog as usual, I did cryotherapy for 2years with a popular Bumps clinic and the pain from the procedure almost paralyzed the left part of my body as it became weaker and I couldnโ€™t use it, still it resurfaced. Since 2015 Iโ€™ve been in and out of the hospital over this keloid, one general hospital suggested removing the whole ear which might cause another issue as it could still grow again. Iโ€™ve been going through excruciating pains, every single day of my life Iโ€™m in pains, Iโ€™ve been popping painkillers like whoโ€™s taking candy, I barely sleep at night Most days Iโ€™m awake till morning, once itโ€™s night I get scared cos the pains becomes unbearable. Sometimes I take sleeping pills just to get through the night. I canโ€™t go out, I canโ€™t even show up for my business, my parents and siblings have had to give up their finances every single year because of me. Last year November, my sister single-handedly took care of the bills for the procedure I did. At some point the Keloid started to accumulate abscess, it becomes so much that Iโ€™ve had to go through drainage process, I did one last year as well. And all of these have made the keloid very aggressive and it grows faster by the day, the last removal procedure I did was in April of last year, the growth youโ€™re seeing in frame 1 is just 1year and 7months growth which is unusually fast. Since I finished my service year Iโ€™ve been at home because I couldnโ€™t work with this condition, I even had to let go of a few job opportunities I was recommended for with the hope of getting this done before I fully commit. A doctor I met recommended LASUTH earlier this year and since May Iโ€™ve been trying to get booked for surgery, initially I was booked for surgery but I wasnโ€™t told everything it entailed, my first surgery date was September 11th and it was moved later on due to the strike. I was opportuned to secure a consultation again with the Burns and Plastic unit (BPSU) yesterday in LASUTH and the consultant put me through everything I needed for the keloid to not reoccur. He said I needed at least 2 Radiotherapy sessions of which one has to be done exactly 24hrs after the surgical removal and then another few weeks after. After which I have to undergo chemotherapy and then post op care which includes injections, drugs, silicone creams, and any other recommended care. The Radiotherapy is to be done in LUTH (I was given a reference letter for it) after making enquiries in LUTH, the estimate of one radiotherapy session was given at 2.5m, and Iโ€™ll be needing 2sessions which sums up to 5m. Then the surgery for the removal of the Keloid costs 1.2m and Iโ€™ve been able to come up with that. Then after the surgery Iโ€™m to undergo chemotherapy and post op care but I have not been told how much that would cost, so I am unsure of the entire cost of that but the estimation according to what Iโ€™ve researched is about 2m. LASUTH have given me November 19th for my next and last consultation before the removal and this simply means I have to come up with the money for everything before then. So in total what will be needed for the successful surgery and post op care is 8.2m of which Iโ€™ve already raised 1.2m and Iโ€™m left to source for 7m before the 19th of November. This was really really hard for me to do as I have never done this before but this is my last resort as I have exhausted all my options and I have spent more than 6months alone trying to get booked with LASUTH. Please help me get my life back together ๐Ÿ™ Any amount will go a long way๐Ÿ™ 0427940035 Nancy Chidinma Wema Bank
