When people are persuaded to abandon their history, their unity, and their right to defend themselves, conquest no longer needs to announce itself. #fypシ

Bro, you're Yorùbá.
You don't have any real friends outside your ethnicity within Nigeria especially when politics is involved.
Your friend can literally turn your enemy is seconds. It's you who is not CONSERVATIVE.
Your friends from other ethnicities are.
Only similar interest can give you friends from other ethnicities as a Yorùbá within Nigeria or when you support them.
The day you start understanding Nigeria and become conservative. You're no longer their friends.
Hey brother @Emmanuel_Tips I see how you been attacking me because of politics, people will think we don’t know each other but believe me I don’t have issues with all your attacks. But you retweeting a post saying I run fake groups and edit stake to make it look like all the millions I won from sport betting are real. Emmanuel YOU. You’re not a real person and I’m disappointed. Like I said this is not about politics but you reposting a post to damage my reputation should be outta it. Enjoy yourself.

I’m from Edo state, I stumbled upon my girlfriends group chat, an Igbo group chat, they concluded that since the Lagos state govt want to celebrate gele festival they have started plans to submit application to Guinness book of records for different categories of “biggest ichafu” “fastest time to tie an ichafu” and some other categories I can’t remember.
If it happens that Guinness approves it, they will display gele as ichafu and that will send a ver strong signal to the world.
I have sent this to over 10 Yoruba pages but non answered me.
So you guys can reach out maybe to Yoruba tailors or fashions designers who are willing to act on it and make applications for categories for gele.
I strongly believe that of gele will be approved first because of its popularity.
I always prefer to remain anonymous. Blessings.

Me: I know Yoruba people can be... fill in the gap. Imagine yibos' determination to appropriate our culture and right on our land where our gov went walking a yibo boy's design on the runway of Lagos Fashion Week. I'm tired!

Update! Update!! Update!!!
The moment we started promoting and embracing Isese tradition, many Alfas suddenly began coming out to lecture us about the origins of Ifá and its history. 😆😆
No Yoruba person should allow an Alfa to perform Aṣẹjẹ for them. For years, some of these people have denigrated and disrespected our traditional way of life, yet they now want to position themselves as authorities on our heritage.
It's a strategy, don't fall for it! If you want to eat Aṣẹjẹ, go to the Babalawos who understand the tradition and its practices.
After all, where exactly is it written in the Qur'an that Prophet Muhammad ate Aṣẹjẹ or instructed Muslims to eat it?
Yoruba people, let us learn our history, understand our culture and stop allowing others to dictate how we practise our ancestral traditions. Àṣẹ!
