Salon wrote some of the best satire we've ever seen. If these brilliant humorists couldn't keep the lights on, what does that mean for the rest of us?
Today, after 31 years, we are saddened to announce that Salon is ceasing publication. It has been an extraordinary privilege. salon.com/2026/11/05/goodbye…

Being a conservative sucks because many of us are trying to do what's best for humanity and we are considered worse than hitler by performative leftists who act morally superior when their convictions come entirely from whatever is trending.

Podcasters Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan can't stop laughing at the thought of digging up Charlie Kirk's corpse and "doing it" again to him.
After laughing for 30 seconds straight, the women falsely claimed that Tyler Robinson was a 'MAGA person.'
They will celebrate your death, laugh uncontrollably, and still be fully convinced they're the "good guys."

I hope conservatives finally understand what these people think of you

Why are all the people who were warning of fascism suddenly bragging about the coming show trials, reeducation camps, and nationalization?

Seems appropriate that they met at a place that used to symbolize Texas, but is now owned by a private equity firm out of Chicago. 🤣
Texas’s next U.S. senator, James Talarico, and governor, Gina Hinojosa, met up after their victory parties at (where else?) Whataburger, the place where Texas teams celebrate.
Outside, car horns honked and drivers cheered. wapo.st/4Agh7Cq

It's actually not normal, but the fact that PBS media is telling you it's normal should actually tell you a lot, shouldn't it
If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

So a CIA agent masquerading as a politician visits Poland and a month later they have a coup. And now she’s threatening a coup in the US.
Hmmm. It’s probably nothing.
Last month, Elissa Slotkin brags about how she went to Poland and Hungary and "brought home the playbook to get out of 'authoritarian' governments." WTAF. 🤯
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland, Radosław Sikorski is celebrating the globalist coup. Here he is last month alongside Elissa Slotkin.

basically this
The White underclass is a miracle, and probably why the West has succeeded.
Thomas Frank wrote “What’s the Matter with Kansas” to explore why poor Whites don’t vote for socialist policies that would (narrowly, in the short-term) benefit them. Of course he concluded it was about racism, as he was predetermined to do by his ideology.
But I actually think he highlighted an incredibly important fact: poor White Americans, uniquely among underclasses globally, don’t vote for socialism.
The typical dynamic is rich people trying to keep what they have and poor people trying to take it. But the American lower-class White does not behave this way, because he has a deontological aversion to government interference. The collection of attitudes and beliefs described as “rugged individualism” are often assessed in terms of how they impact the individual, but I think it’s much more important to consider how they impact a nation.
(White) America has the world’s least resentful or grasping underclass. This is a treasure. They should be preserved and rewarded. Many might be net-negative fiscally in a narrow sense, but they are hugely net-positive if you consider their votes. Trump famously said “I love the poorly educated.” He was right to say this. Every nation has an elite. No other nation has such a high quality of virtuous common people.

Libs have a will to power, a ruthless and transgressiveness, that the right simply does not have.
Libs will talk about ‘norms’ and demand respectability but when it comes down to it there’s really nothing they won’t do, particularly if they fear they’re losing.

But aides with the Mary Peltola campaign and DSCC were part of a monthslong secret plan to recruit him to run -- as well as other candidates.
