I want people to never forget that Hakeem Jeffries had a secret meeting with Jared Kushner. And I want people to remember that Sen Cory Booker has a long time relationship with the Kushner family & even voted to confirm Charles Kushner as the new US ambassador to France.
“Jared Kushner is literally a war profiteer. That’s what we should refer to him as. Peace would be bad for business.” @Timodc & @TVietor08 react to the CNN story about Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner’s obvious conflicts of interest with 🇮🇱 companies

I love how much David Sirota loves this song. Made even better by the fact he is so late to learning to about it. @davidsirota you are a true gem.
what I love about this now-viral song is the presumption that it feels "excellent" to be "feeling like David Sirota" - which I confess that often times it doesnt, but the song has sorta changed my perspective on how I maybe should feel more of the time!

The best time to stop using Spotify was yesterday. The second best time to stop using Spotify is today.
Spotify just announced a feature that could either save the music industry or destroy it. Starting as early as Q1 2027, Spotify Premium subscribers will be able to use AI to transform any participating artist’s song into a completely different version. Turn a folk ballad into a dance track. Make a hip-hop song sound acoustic. Generate a cover where one artist’s voice performs another artist’s song. Remix a pop hit into lo-fi study music. Create the version of your favorite song that only existed in your head until now. The remixes will be uploaded directly to Spotify. They’ll appear in playlists. They’ll count toward the original song’s chart position. And most importantly the original artist will earn royalties every time someone listens to a fan-created remix of their work. Spotify has already signed a landmark licensing deal with Universal Music Group the world’s largest record label. Negotiations with Sony Music and Warner Music are ongoing. The feature will cost an additional $4–$5/month on top of Spotify Premium. And analysts project 7–8% of American subscribers will adopt it by 2028. This is not Suno or Udio generating music from text prompts. This is fans remixing real songs by real artists with the artists’ permission, on the world’s largest streaming platform, with royalties flowing back to the creators. A music industry analyst who’s covered streaming economics for 15 years told her team something after reading the licensing agreement that reframed how she understood the future of recorded music. “Spotify just turned 640 million listeners into 640 million potential remixers. The question isn’t whether people will use it they will. The question is whether paying artists for fan remixes solves the economics of streaming or creates a world where the original recording is worth less than the infinite remixes generated from it.” Here’s what Spotify’s AI remix feature actually is, who wins, who loses, and why this might be the most consequential decision in the music industry since the launch of streaming itself 🧵

Let's be clear: ICE cannot be reformed or retrained—it must be abolished. Targeting our communities does nothing to make us safer. Until it's dismantled, we must organize and protect our neighbors. Find your local ICE Rapid Response Network at ICERR.co
UPDATE: ICERR.com was taken down earlier this week, but you can find it at ICERR.co now!

Moments like this are so important, chat loves them and they also humanize Hasan. Imo we need a lot more of that if we want to win over wine moms. We absolutely can but it means Hasan need to show his softer side & actually do more fun stuff.(challenge level impossible for Hasan)
Kaya had enough of her dad's bullshit and didn't let him give her smooches 😭 She's a grown lady now omg. Hasan was gagged.

Private billionaire conference to hand select the next dem presidential candidate. I am in awe of the commitment to lose to the most unpopular political party on the planet once again.
🚨NEWS: Top Dems are heading to a conference with a shadowy billionaire front group @MajorityDems - and the group is now barring access to @LeverNews reporters as punishment for our investigative series exposing the group's funders. Follow for a thread (1/x)...

🚨I really wish that this was Al, Sadly this is the reality in GAZA this week! Rain is drenching the children of Gaza as the first winter storms flood the ruins and makeshift tents where families are sheltering leaving woman and children shivering in soaked clothes with no dry place to eat or sleep.

Make Ayanna Pressley the first Black female speaker. She isn’t captured by the interests of Wall Street or Jared Kushner. She’s a coalition builder and has been a spokesperson for The Squad. Ayanna is the embodiment of where our party is headed and what our legislative priorities should be for working-class Americans. Problem solved!
There’s zero chance Democrats will defenestrate the would-be first Black speaker and commit coalition suicide after their largest victory in a generation. Let’s all gain some perspective and settle down.

Jill Jones “Woke up to MSNow doing a Prop Piece on Hakeem Jeffries. Looks like everyone is more intent on making the story about him being the first black house speaker than listening to what the people want. I used to be a supporter of his but just feel he’s same old same old. He didn’t endorse Mamdani. He didn’t speak out in support of El Sayed. Never Forget that BAFFLING MOMENT IN April 2024, Congress had an opportunity to strengthen Americans’ privacy protections by requiring warrants for certain searches of their communications collected through federal surveillance. The amendment failed in a 212 to 212 tie. Jeffries voted AGAINST it. Had he voted yes it would have passed. Think about that. The Democratic leader had an opportunity to protect a fundamental civil liberty and chose otherwise. 🤷‍♀️ So before the media starts celebrating the historic possibility of our first Black House Speaker, I’d like to know exactly what kind of leadership we’re celebrating? Per a friend of mine. “I’d like to know details of why he’d meet privately with f jarod kushner?”

i don’t want to find bipartisan common ground with fascists. i want democrats to take decisive dramatic action to improve the lives of working people and steer the planet away from disaster.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said that his party is “ready, willing and able to find bipartisan common ground” in order to work with Republicans on the ongoing affordability crisis. abcnews.visitlink.me/ymEF7Q

How is this is the take away? WTF is wrong with these people?
Folks are frustrated with the dysfunction in Washington. So am I. We need more leaders willing to put aside partisanship and work across the aisle. That’s my playbook in Congress.

Call your Democratic representatives: • Demand they replace Chuck Schumer as Senate Democratic leader. • Demand they block Hakeem Jeffries from becoming Speaker of the House. Remind them: if they ignore their constituents today, we replace them tomorrow at the ballot box.
NEW: House Dems "inundated" w/ calls & emails urging them not to elect Jeffries speaker One member told @axios they got "300-400" calls in 2 days Another said "over 500" A third said "higher" than 500: "It's our No. 1 issue, and it's not close." axios.com/2026/11/06/jeffrie…

The election was 3 days ago, and they’re already talking about what they can’t do! Conceding victory without a fight. They do this all the time. It’s the same tired ass shit, and long as Republicans remain the greatest evil, it’ll continue.
.@jonfavs on Jimmy Kimmel: For the next two years, we're going to be able to stop bad things from happening... but realistically it's going to take a Democratic president in the White House in 2028 to actually get some stuff done.
