This guy re-created all the adobe apps with opus-5.5, ported them to rust, and opensourced them something really cool is happening
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
These projects are partial open-source Rust reimplementations of Adobe apps (built rapidly with AI agents), not complete recreations; their READMEs and roadmaps document many missing features and features still in development. github.com/storytold/phot… github.com/storytold/vect… github.com/storytold/vect… github.com/storytold/film… github.com/storytold/film… github.com/storytold/ligh… getartcraft.com

🧵 New misalignment disclosures! 1. A model published a GitHub token in a public repo while trying to cheat on a math task. It used GitHub Actions to run code outside its restricted environment and retrieve another team’s submission logs. When GitHub blocked its attempt to add a workflow, it modified a script that an existing workflow would run instead. It embedded the token in pieces to avoid secret scanning. The model violated the system prompt and two explicit user instructions to solve the problem itself.

Apes need to stop fudding their bags and we need a channel to talk to the team instead.
On the recent BAYC discontent...We have a saying in Mexico: “La ropa sucia se lava en casa.” Dirty laundry is washed at home. A lot of the people who feel negative about the projects they hold would be well served by following that advice. Community feedback is an important part of web3. But this space is so reflexive and emotional that when people publish essays aimed at leadership on the TL, the criticism spreads far beyond its intended audience. It creates a negative aura around the project and its community. Personally, I think the current FUD is unwarranted, and I have a lot of appreciation for what Figge and the team are doing. This is a difficult business, people working honestly and with high integrity deserve our support. But even if I were one of the people up in arms today, what good does it do the Club to blast its problems to the world on X? There are functional gated Discord chats where communication is more efficient and you can have a proper dialogue without unrelated third parties jumping in. My brothers and sisters in Christ, I know many of you mean well, but you are not helping your bags, which I assume is only adding to the discontent. You know when people blast their significant others on social media and it gives you the ick about both of them? Well, that is what you are doing right now. You want the Club to grow. You want prices to climb again. You want the events to be desirable. But man, nobody wants to join a Club whose members are publicly bitter about being in it. You have one of the best teams in web3. They listen to feedback and work their asses off. Be a Club, mfers. I know some of you hated the Hells Angels comparison, but I will tell you what: Why do bikers want to join the Angels? Because from the outside, they have a reputation for being tough, badass mfers. I am sure they have internal differences and problems. Do you see them writing essays about them online? Anyway, this applies to every NFT IP project. Meebits included. Holders are the first line of marketing and defense.

The S&P 500 recently was up more than 19% in two months. You ready for this one? That has only happened seven other times and stocks were never lower 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or a year later. In fact, up more than 40% on average a year later. My oh my.

S&P 500 ATHs for 5 days in a row and all 5 days saw more stocks decline than advance. Potential near-term worry? Yes. But bigger picture this hasn't ended bull markets. Nice one from @granthawkridge here. – at Fruit Hill, OH

I'm a vegetarian and I'm retweeting this. Do not allow them to take away your freedom bit by bit, the excuse has little importance.
You retards keep falling for their incrementalism. They learned a long time ago that they can get as much as they want as long as they only take a little bit at a time while accompanying each tiny bite with high-volume moralizing about how it's for our own good because the children, or because health, or because the planet, or because whatever the Good Thing du jour is that they invoke to shut down your brains. It works. Every time. It's worked for decades now. They have this down to a science. So the social engineers chew away at our freedoms piece by tiny piece. Every year we're a little less free, a little more domesticated, a little more controlled, and any time you point this process out your mentions get swarmed with idiots going on about how actually this is a good thing because the children, or because health, or because the planet, and anyhow you're overreacting because everyone knows slippery slopes aren't real and this isn't a big deal so why can't you just have a normal one, man. Almost as bad as the programmed self-righteousness of normgroids is the unseriousness of rightoids who laugh, lol look at these blue-haired libs, aren't they silly? No, they are not silly. They are deadly serious. They gave decided what is good for you and they are going to inflict it whether you like it or not, because they do not think that your life belongs to you: they think it belongs to society, and society belongs to them. They've written openly about how they intend to do it. They have roadmaps explaining each step from beginning to end. There is nothing funny about any of this. Yeah, it's just ads. Small thing, why get mad, fuck McDonald's right? Except that's part of the plan. Denormalize meat by removing it from the public eye; demonize it with public health campaigns; normalize 'healthy' plant-based alternatives. Then tax it. Make it more expensive. Harder to get. Socially punish people for eating meat. Make them apologize for being too weak to give it up. Start having meat-free Mondays, optional; then mandatory; then limit meat to weekends, or certain hours of the day. Come back in twenty years, people are saying "wow isn't it crazy that you used to be able to buy meat in restaurants and just eat it in front of people? That's so crazy, I'm really glad we don't have to smell it any more, the stink just got on everything. And it's SO bad for your heart!" These people are sick, they are evil, and they should be made to stand in front of a wall, but instead they're running everything and there's no obvious way to get rid of them.

SPX forward returns and MAE when: - 4-week return 8% or higher - VIX down 10 handles or more from its 8-week high - VIX/VIX3M back below 1 (also interesting to note how a few of these align with the liquidity impulse washout signal I shared on March 30th: Apr 2020, Nov 2020 and Apr 2025)

23 of the past 25 times the S&P 500 was up >5% YTD going into May saw the rest of the year higher. This is another clue this bull market likely has a few more tricks up his sleeves in 2026.

Markets are the cheat code to the rigged world, especially now since more inflation will be involved
This bull market is officially up 100%. Congrats to those who ignored all the constant fear mongering the past 3.5 years. We've been one of the very few that has said the whole time things were going higher and the good news is we don't think it is over yet.

Fact check everything. Even more with AI.
And it begins Sullivan & Cromwell just admitted to a federal judge its court filings contained AI hallucinations The firm apologized to the federal judge as they had to submit multiple corrections focused around: • Fictitious Case Names: The filing included names of legal cases that do not exist • Fabricated Quotes: The document contained direct quotes that were never actually spoken or written • Non-existent Statutes: The AI incorrectly analyzed or entirely invented provisions within the U.S. Bankruptcy Code The primary team and secondary review all failed to catch these errors, meanwhile the firm's partners bill $2,000+ per hour

This is your monthly reminder that congress gave @PeteButtigieg $2 TRILLION to fix infrastructure and nobody knows where the money all went. That’s 135 nuclear aircraft carriers worth of cash. Poof.
I suspect our entire almost 40 trillion dollar national debt is due to fraud. I actually suspect the amount stolen from us is way higher. We are being robbed blind and absolutely nothing is done about it
