The time spent at a cell gathering is the same time others spend at rotary, others spend in the gym, others spend at the massage parlor in the suburbs of Kampala, I don’t have that luxury.
what i believe you seek is what we call cell gatherings or Bible study. Same thing the Berians did, that they went back and examined the scriptures themselves amongst themsleves to verify what Paul was teaching. Now are there ministers that have abused their responsiblity? yes...

This move is good, but I think DSTV did it a little late. Many people who had their installations have moved on to other services (you know it takes 21 days to build a new habit!)... Ugandans rent houses, so they move apartments; if someone is not using the dish, they have no reason to call an installer to shift it; they abandon it. So now, to return to the service, they need a new installation. Not very plausible. The market moves badly.
MultiChoice Uganda has restructured DStv into 4 packages: Starter (UGX 25k), Select (UGX 60k), Sports (UGX 100k) and Ultimate (UGX 185k) per month. The new UGX 100k Sports package will carry every Premier League & UEFA Champions League match, plus 150+ channels. Effective Nov 5. #ExpectMoreOnDStv #ExpectMoreOnDStv #TujjaTujja

Funny how church was designed so the pulpit is the only microphone in the building. You sit still for 2-3 hours while a man with half your IQ and twice your confidence “interprets” the Bible however his rent, car, or mood requires. No questions. No “watagwan?” No cross-checking. Just nod, say “Amen,” and pay. Questioning is rebranded as “a spirit of rebellion,” and a debate is rebranded as “attacking the anointed.” That’s not worship, that’s crowd control with hymns. A system where one person talks, everyone else listens, and doubt is treated as a sin doesn’t produce wisdom. It produces obedient sheep to be taken to the slaughterhouse, and the shepherd isn’t feeding you; he’s shearing you. Nothing about that setup was accidental. 🐑

Parents call police to US children's soccer game after father refuses to take his 3-yo son off the field for playing too well Other parents complained the boy wasn't sharing the ball and was dribbling past every opponent to score himself The league later suspended the child

The school is called King Solomon. Parents should avoid schools that hawk faith as their foundation and basis, they are the least at showing empathy.
There is a school on Ndagire Road (Kamuli Road, as most of us call it), almost opposite the turn from the back of Kyambogo (Banda Circular Road). It appears to lock out pupils who arrive late. Because the school sits on a backstreet with its gate right at the roadside, these children end up waiting on the edge of a busy road. Locking out latecomers may have been an accepted way of instilling discipline in the 1980s, but today it puts children in real danger. All it takes is one speeding or drunk driver on a Monday morning for a tragedy to happen, and the school would then have very serious questions to answer. Discipline matters, but not at the cost of a child’s safety.

Ugandan's are doing everything to surrvive in this wobbly economy! If you have this brand, watch out, its lights are the new hot selling "cake" among what my Chinese friends baptised as Uganda's "Ali Babas"

Pastors are out to finish planet earth. Gosh.
Moment an American pastor and prophetess, who are both married, introduce a new wife to their congregation and announce that they are now in a polygynous marriage with a female church member, claiming it is the “will of God.” 😭🤦🏾‍♂️🙆🏾‍♂️

According to @UNFPAUganda, in Uganda, fewer than 1% of children under 18 have health insurance, an estimated 200,000 children out of over 23 million minors.

I'd feel bad for Man Utd but whenever I remember Gary Neville always talking sh.t about Arsenal, Evra calling us Netflix FC, van Der Sar saying Raya isn't a top goalie, & the onfield injustice Wenger faced over the years, I just keep wishing for their continued downfall.

Someone with money needs to create a space in Kampala for people who just want random human interaction. You pay a fee for the day, chat with strangers, & go your separate ways. No strings attached, no calling to ask "did you reach safely?", and no asking for transport money, etc. Just pure, low-maintenance vibes! 💪

Man City and Chelsea have lost. Tomorrow, Brighton will tame Liverpool and for Man Utd, there is no need reciting what Bournemouth will do to them. This will be a perfect footballing weekend.

I didn’t think it would be this bad.
Bournemouth at Old Trafford in 3 days. Should be easy for United, but this team is a jigger in the foot: small, annoying, and impossible to ignore until it’s gone. 😩⚽ #MUFC

A police chap in Uganda carried UGX. 129,000,000 into a sauna only to have it stolen. His being in a sauna is not the problem. Deposit Protection Fund estimates that only 40,000 - 60,000 Ugandans alive today have ever had UGX. 129M in liquid form. But a brother in police force carries it as part of what deposit at the entrance of a sauna as he strips himself naked to burn some of his body fat. A mess.
