Along with this, please focus on keeping temple premises and surrounding areas clean, well-maintained and visitor-friendly, with proper facilities for devotees and tourists. This would also create opportunities for local businesses, guides, shops and communities to earn a better livelihood.

Rains are expected tonight in Chennai but Red Alert rains (>200 mm) varuma ? Chennai has historically not experienced back-to-back 200 mm rainfall days from an Upper Air Circulation (UAC) without a break. The current UAC is close to Chennai which mean convergence would be slightly north of Chennai.

Today’s rainfall outlook: Rains are likely to be manageable compared with yesterday’s spell. The main convergence zone is expected to remain north of the UAC, favouring South Andhra Pradesh and the Tiruvallur district, which could receive good rainfall.
Hence, the chances of another widespread, very heavy rainfall spell across Chennai, similar to yesterday, appear slim today (just an personal opinion).
If anything forms or any massive cloud is converging like yesterday, will update the same even though it has less than 10% probability.
NO POWER CENTRE IN MY GOVERNMENT – Vijay Anna has made his position clear.
Criticism is part of democracy, but repeated speculation and allegations without evidence serve no purpose. If there are genuine concerns, let them be raised with facts rather than political narratives.
At the same time, Anna, there is still a lot of work to be done within the system. Government officials and officers must be held accountable. Transparency, discipline and responsiveness need to improve at every level. Changing the government alone is not enough; the administrative culture must change too.
There is no need to get distracted by every controversy. Focus on strengthening governance, correcting what is not working and delivering what was promised.
Let the critics ask questions. Let the government answer through transparency, accountability and results. Tamil Nadu deserves nothing less. @CMOTamilnadu
