In Washington State, where Jay was governor and now Bob Ferguson is at the helm, Puget Sound Energy wants to increase energy rates by over 30%. Also, thanks to Jay's change-the-weather gas tax, Washington has some of the most expensive gas in the country. 85% of the tax revenues goes to fund the state bureaucracy and do nothing to change the weather. Ironically, the CCA change-the-weather tax is indirectly blamed for the 30% rate increase. So, yes, Jay is correct. Governors have tremendous power to wreck a state's economy. Nice work.
