Government support for students throughout the pandemic has not been good enough.

@Keir_Starmer should show leadership on this issue and act in the interests of students by campaigning for financial compensation this year!
.@Keir_Starmer Students have been ignored and exploited this year, left paying full fees for a vastly lessened experience.
Will you support us in calling on the government to give students the financial compensation that they deserve?

It's an honour and a privilege to announce that we have the full backing of Long Boi, on behalf of @YorkUniSU
"The tallest mallard duck to have ever lived (since records began) known as 'Long Boi.' He lives on the campus of the University of York, England. He stands just over 1m tall (3.5ft)."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Long Boi is a real duck, and this image is real, however it is not a mallard duck, but an average size Indian Runner. The reason it looks tall is that it is standing next to short mallard ducks. It is also not 3.5 feet tall, but 70 centimeters. snopes.com/fact-check/lon…

There's still time to sign our letter to @BorisJohnson, calling on the Government to step in and give students the compensation they deserve.

Students living in private lettings are still having to pay thousands for accommodation they haven't lived in. Johnson objected to big businesses in the Super League when he wanted to, so why won't he stand up to private landlords? #SUAF @suaf211 @nusuk #StudentsDeserveBetter

A broken promise, with the Turing Scheme meaning many European students will no longer be able to study at Durham. We've just lost a core part of our campus community thanks to this lie.

@10DowningStreet I am appalled that very little has been done to help students that are paying 9k for an education that has been absolutely obliterated for an entire year. Please listen to us #SUAF

@10DowningStreet We aren't asking for your sympathy, we're asking for justice. Students have been told on numerous occasions to appeal to their universities if they are unhappy. Can unis handle the financial burden of refunding every affected student? Preposterous.

📢 STUDENTS UNITED AGAINST FEES
