Cpl Ryan L. Ice was the kind of guy who made an impression on everyone he met. He served five years in the Marine Corps, spending time deployed in Okinawa, Japan.
Ryan was famous for his great sense of humor. He always had a joke ready, bringing warmth and laughter to the Marines who served beside him. He was loved by everyone who crossed his path-and mostly by his wife, Joy.
Just ten days after Ryan and Joy got married, Ryan was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. What came next showed the strength Ryan carried inside him. He always said he wouldn't have survived as long as he did without Joy by his side. Even in the hardest moments, his main focus was making sure his family was taken care of.
On November 3, 2026, Ryan's long battle came to an end. Ryan leaves behind a legacy of pure strength, deep devotion, and a spirit that will never be forgotten.

Navy Corpsman Jajuan Hernandez was the only U.S. medic on the scene when a drone hit a base in Iraq. Seven French soldiers were critically hurt.
Jajuan ran straight toward the fire as ammunition kept going off. And he said Jajuan saved six lives. Jajuan said he heard a loud buzzing that night. Then a big explosion went off about 80 feet away.
Other troops went into the bunker. But Jajuan stayed outside. He knew they would call his name if anyone got hurt. And when the call came, he ran to the blast site and found seven soldiers on the ground. He started IVs, put on tourniquets and sealed chest wounds. There was a language barrier too. So he pointed and held up gear to show what he needed. Sadly, one French soldier, Arnaud Frion, did not survive.

On May 26, 2008, Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry was leading Rangers during a mission in Afghanistan's Paktya Province when his team came under heavy enemy fire while clearing a compound.
Petry and another Ranger were hit by automatic weapons fire as they moved through a courtyard.
Even with wounds in both legs, Petry stayed in the fight.
He kept directing his men and helping move wounded Rangers to cover while the firefight continued around them.
Then an enemy grenade landed near Petry and two other Rangers.
There wasn't time to think it through. The grenade was close enough to kill or seriously wound everyone around it.
Petry grabbed it and tried to throw it away from his fellow Rangers.
The grenade detonated as it left his hand, severing his right hand and showering him with additional wounds.
His actions saved the lives of the men standing beside him.
What makes the story even more remarkable is that Petry didn't leave the Army after recovering.
He continued to serve, reenlisted, and remained on active duty for years after receiving his injuries.
In 2011, he was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions that day.
RED Friday isn't just about remembering those who never made it home.
It's also about remembering the men and women who carried the fight, paid a price, and kept serving.
Today, remember Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry, and all those still carrying the scars of war long after the shooting stops.

What’s all the fuss, you say. It’s not a big deal to you that our election system has been taken over and manipulated by the left. So now, you don’t have to worry about it. You don’t have to be in charge of producing meaningful results for the American people. They just sent you to your room without any supper.
