POP THAT BUBBLE! POP THAT BUBBLE! POP THAT BUBBLE! POP THAT BUBBLE!
๐Ÿšจ US LAWMAKERS ARE NOW PREPARING FOR THE AI BUBBLE TO BURST. House Democrats have introduced a resolution opposing government bailouts for AI companies if the industry crashes. Instead of rescuing them with taxpayer money, lawmakers want failed AI companies to go through normal bankruptcy. And the timing is extremely concerning. Some of the world's biggest tech companies are investing billions into AI startups that spend heavily on their products. โ€ข Nvidia invests in CoreWeave, which buys Nvidia chips. โ€ข Microsoft invests in OpenAI, which spends billions on Microsoft's cloud services. โ€ข Amazon invests in Anthropic, which uses Amazon's cloud infrastructure. Billions are moving between companies that are becoming increasingly dependent on each other's spending. And lawmakers are raising concerns about the growing use of borrowed money by Big Tech and Wall Street to finance the AI boom. The resolution is not law, but it shows that some lawmakers are already worried about what happens if the industry collapses. If AI startups run out of funding, they could be forced to slash spending or declare bankruptcy, leaving their investors and suppliers facing massive losses. And without government bailouts, a major failure could spread across chipmakers, cloud providers, banks and the broader stock market. The biggest risk is that one major AI bankruptcy could trigger losses across an entire industry worth trillions.

Ichigo's journey finally ends today after 22 years ๐Ÿฅฒโš”๏ธ Bleach will air its final TV anime episode bringing the Thousand-Year Blood War and a journey that began with the original anime in 2004 to its long-awaited conclusion. What began with Ichigo unexpectedly gaining the powers of a Soul Reaper grew into battles across Soul Society, Hueco Mundo and beyond, introducing generations of fans to characters like Rukia, Renji, Byakuya, Aizen, Uryu and countless others. For longtime viewers, this ending carries extra weight. Bleach disappeared from television for nearly a decade before returning in 2022 to finally animate the mangaโ€™s concluding war, giving fans an ending many once thought they might never see. The final episode will close the Thousand-Year Blood War and officially complete the television anime. Bankai were unleashed. Friendships were forged. Entire generations grew up alongside Ichigo. Now, one of animeโ€™s defining journeys is finally reaching its destination. End of an era. ๐Ÿงก

Really unfortunate that Forever will - so far - launch with one-and-done dungeoning incentivized. Fuck being a Prot Pally. I'll just be Ret since it'll be a total waste of my time doing anything else.

Larian Studiosโ€™ Divinity - more ambitious than Baldur's Gate 3 - proprietary engine - proprietary ruleset - isometric turn-based - fixed loot system - untethered co-op across different Acts - targeting 3-4 year dev time This is the game Larian has always wanted to make.

Dungeon Exp should be reverted on Drop itโ€™s always been an efficient way to level up and gear especially for those with limited time to play games! Not everyone wants to Hop on and keep running from point A to Point B for exp/gear thatโ€™s not the perfect WoW Forever Experience! WoW has always been what you make of it whether that be dungeons or questing!

This is too much fence sitting for me. Sure, let them cook, but I am going to have some feedback on the dungeon exp changes. I want dungeon running to remain a viable path to leveling even if it's less optimal than other methods. As is I won't bother running them at all.

daily diminishing returns for dungeon xp is the most reasonable solution, I donโ€™t know why this is a controversial take

โ€œwanting xp from dungeons means ur disingenuous and u suck at the game if u need it and u should go back to retail and ur catering to bots and ur ruining the wow experience and and andโ€ bro some ppl just want to tank or heal in a group setting, itโ€™s not that deep

the whole dungeon xp nerf thing has gone too far and dungeons now just feel like a pit stop instead of an achievement

also stop telling me you can group while questing in forever. that's another one of those systems that has been "frictioned" up or whatever and is intentionally awkward to use. grouping is easy in retail but not in classic so stop blowing smoke up my ass
