Today seen the first of the @My_Metro Metrocar (4055) heading for the scrapyard, seen here exiting the south side of the Tyne Tunnel.

The rail line into Portbury Docks is still intact and used*, so that is not what is stopping the 93 leaving by rail.

1/2 We wanted to manage the risk of working at height on 08 Shunters, so the next step for us was to add a safety rail to protect workers and guests. On the prototype, this is now a permanent feature (though may or may not be yellow anymore!).
