i grew up playing simcity (one of my favorite games of all time), & if you told me i could zone land for data centers which require a massive capital investment into my city, could have enormous tax revenue, they could be extremely clean (depending on energy), there is minimal or no traffic, they could be aesthetically tolerable, & nothing like heavy industry which is pollution central, i’d think i was about to build the richest fucking city in the world. i’d go absolutely ham & build as many data centers as i could possibly fit.
& yet, here we are, with people fighting tooth & nail to keep them out. which means the debate isn’t about the data centers at all.
This has Nikola Tesla vibes

Today we're releasing Underdog Woof, the #1 frontier TTS model
It's only 31.7 MB and beats Text-to-Speech models 1000x larger on Word Error Rate
It's small enough to run fast in your browser, phone, watch... no data centers
It’s free and open weight with Underdog CC BY-NC 4.0. Try Woof today in Underdog, your Private Personal AI: underdog.ai/woof
Citizens could do this for local city council agendas and also state level hearings.
I could imagine this being able to do full video analysis at some point
Introducing Inkling 2 Small. Scoring 31 on the AA Intelligence Index, it's a big jump over its predecessor.
Inkling 2 Small is available for fine-tuning and inference on Tinker today, with full weight release planned soon.

If you wanted to run the whole video analysis with an API, only Gemini API with 3.1 Flash lite looks promising. OpenRouter can’t handle the full video input needed
RSI is here, at least in a closed lab setting.
Replying to @AndrewCurran_
For the people in the comments asking for context, this report today was a massive update for many people. I'm seeing a number of prominent people who were formerly skeptical now saying RSI in under 6 months and ASI in 1–2 years. (I agree with both)

Don’t forget SpaceX putting data centers in satellites in 2027
I could see X improving the algorithm on this. Posts that you have a one off novelty appeal to shouldn’t steer the entire ship of your feed in that direction
Recently, I liked many posts showing police catching and arresting looters in France, then more, showing local men in Netherlands stopping looters from gathering and robbing downtown shops.
After that, for the next 2-3 days, my feed was flooded with 100s+ videos showing chaos in other cities: random street fights, aggression, violence, mostly crime vids.
It felt like I was seeing every fight and every attempted break in in France, Europe and US. You’d think the world and everyone in it are going mad.
I quickly realized what was happening and used the search bar to find new examples of AI designed games/apps, and movies made with Seedance.
I liked about 10 of them, and now I see almost zero violence. My feed has switched back to mostly AI, tech, science news, videos showcasing incredible creativity and productivity from people building the next generation of games/apps using Opus 5.5 and other AI's.
In other words, you are or most likely become what you watch. If you don’t break out of the evil loop/s, you’ll see mostly crime videos, all day, every day, for months or even years, and such people may become increasingly angry and radicalized. If your feed shows accelerating progress and development, you’re more likely to feel hopeful and optimistic.
This is how it works. Don’t be fooled. There are way more good people than bad, way more good things happening than bad ones.
You go outside, and the world is largely beautiful and peaceful.
Best timeline. Just getting started.
Absurd luck to be alive now.
Coolest use of claude -p to run a business that I have seen yet botsinproduction.com/blog/wh…
This doesn’t seem right
Control of the House and Senate may not be immediately clear on election night, and some of the 2026 midterm election calls will take longer than others. But that's not unusual or an indication of fraud, as some candidates may claim. cbsn.ws/3WpfJP1

We were taught that Earth orbits the Sun in a closed circle. In reality, Earth has never returned to the same point in space once in 4.5 billion years.
Right now, the Sun is carrying Earth and every planet around the center of the Milky Way at 230 km/s (828,000 km/h), more than 18,000 kilometers every 80 seconds.
Because the Solar System is tilted 60.2° to the galactic plane and bobs up and down through the galactic disc roughly every 30 million years, the planets trace open 3D corkscrew helices across deep space rather than flat loops.
The last time the Sun stood where it stands today, one Galactic Year (230 million years) ago, the very first dinosaurs were only beginning to appear on Earth. Since forming 4.6 billion years ago, our Sun has completed only 20 laps.
This might just turn out to be a cash for clunkers situation for food
🤔 People are definitely prepping right now
- Walmart dot com is out of SPAM
- 10,000 people since yesterday have bought a 4-pack of Chef Boyardee on Walmart
- Costco is out of Pilot Bread (its like hard tack, this is a staple in Alaska. I've never seen people buy it in the lower 48)
- Augason Farms stuff is low stock or out of stock at the major retailers
- Biggest inventory dips are dehydrated meat & dairy
- MyPatriotSupply's hello bars @ top of site says "Due to unprecedented order volume, please allow 8-14 business days for your order to ship."
- ReadyWise's says "Due to high order volume, Orders placed today are estimated to ship late November."
Don't know what to make of this other than to say people are worried.
Taking wifi out of everything is going to be the predominant trend in this new era
supermarkets in sweden, belgium, luxembourg, estonia, ireland, the netherlands and finland hit by cyberattacks on their refrigeration systems
some freezer controls set to 50°C. stores forced to throw away food
this is only the beginning
very few things are going to matter more than cybersecurity in the next few years
