I just spent three months working part time at Target and never sold a single Xbox despite having them in stock for 90% of that time
So uhhhh… she may be overstating it a bit
Xbox consoles are in higher demand than supply can accommodate, says CEO Asha Sharma:
"Console sales remain constrained by supply, with more demand than consoles available. We’re working to get more consoles into players’ hands"

~3 years ago I was at activision-blizzard through the Microsoft acquisition.
The xbox org was a mess. Every week, reorgs and reshuffling of roles and responsibilities. Idk how any work got done.
I quit shortly after, and years later, they’re still in the same spot.

As an ex Microsoft employee, I know at least 6 people taking this offer.
And another 2 who are don't want to but are terrified what will happen to them in the following year if they don't.

Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

#Xbox first Chief Operating Officer (COO) Helen Chiang is leaving the company less than three months after taking on the role.
Chiang spent 21 years at Microsoft and previously headed Minecraft before being promoted to Xbox COO in July. Asha Sharma tasked her with overseeing “end-to-end profit and loss responsibility across content, hardware, platform, and services” as part of Xbox’s “big reset”.
A seemingly nigh-impossible task given Xbox’s broken business model and margins, which have contributed to an unprecedented 9,000+ layoffs in recent years (more than 42% of Xbox staff), alongside over a dozen studio closures, divestitures and mergers.
Multiple more rounds of layoffs are reported to follow.
Xbox CEO Asha Sharma announced Chiang’s departure in a surprisingly brief memo today: “Helen Chiang is leaving Microsoft today. I’m grateful for her years of service and wish her well.”
This marks the second high-profile departure under Asha Sharma in just the last few months. Xbox VP of Engineering Jared Palmer also left his role after less than three months, back in July.

Destiny folks, if you haven’t already signed on to save another great Sci-fi property I’d recommend you do so.
We did it once and saved our game. We owe it to others to pay that good fortune forward.
