The Labour Government is lying to us about the climate disaster. And this same energy secretary admitted earlier in the year this will do nothing to lower our bills.
Energy Secretary @Miatsf says Zack Polanski's criticism about the govt giving the green light to Jackdaw is "complete nonsense".
The government claims they can still meet their climate objectives.

Die Ölkonzerne wissen gar nicht, wohin mit ihrem ganzen Cash. Gleichzeitig werden Diesel & Benzin subventioniert und überall Klima-Investitionen & Hilfsmittel gekürzt.

🚨 Empty shelves and panic buying across Meloni's Italy as a nationwide truckers' strike over soaring fuel costs continues to escalate.
In Naples and throughout Southern Italy (see video below) many gas stations have run completely dry, and supermarkets (from major chains to local markets) face severe shortages of fresh produce, meat, and dairy. The fuel crisis now threatens critical ferry links between the mainland and islands such as Capri and Ischia, forcing maritime operators to appeal for emergency government intervention.
Yet, Italy’s flagship evening news devoted 15 minutes to youth crime in Milan, completely ignoring a two-week strike that is actively paralyzing the South.
