مسأله اینترنت به تنهایی می‌تواند نماد کاملی از شیوه حکمرانی در کشور ما و نسبت جامعه با آن باشد. برای همین مهم است که همچنان درباره اینترنت حرف بزنیم چون در واقع داریم درباره «حق آزادی» و آزادی بیان حرف می‌زنیم. با محمدمهدی حبیبی مدیرعامل سازمان «فضای مجازی پاک»، مناظره کردم:

אני באמת לא יודע מה חמור יותר – אם הוא אומר אמת או אם הוא משקר. נניח לרגע שדבריו נכונים, אף שלפחות לפי המידע הגלוי אין להם כרגע ביסוס ממשי. אם כך, מדובר בכישלון אסטרטגי מהמדרגה הראשונה. מדינת ישראל יצאה לשתי מערכות יקרות מול איראן, ששילמנו עליהן מחיר כבד בחיי אדם, בכלכלה ובחוסן החברתי. 39 ימי לחימה, חלקם בשיתוף פעולה עם ארצות הברית, אינספור תקיפות והצהרות על הישגים היסטוריים שייזכרו לדורות. וכל זה בשביל לגלות שאנחנו שוב באותה נקודה? שאיראן עדיין מאיימת על ישראל בטילים ושהיא לכאורה מתקרבת לפצצה גרעינית? אז מה בדיוק תשיג עוד תקיפה? אם אחרי 39 ימי לחימה, כולל מעורבות אמריקנית ישירה, לא הצלחנו לשנות את המציאות האסטרטגית לטובתנו, ואולי אף החמרנו אותה, מדוע שמערכה נוספת תביא לתוצאה אחרת? ויש כאן שאלה חמורה לא פחות: אם איראן אכן נמצאת על סף פיתוח נשק גרעיני, כיצד ייתכן שהמודיעין הישראלי, שמשקיע משאבים אדירים במעקב אחר איראן, לא זיהה את ההתפתחות הזאת עד עכשיו? האם גם כאן מדובר בכישלון מודיעיני קולוסלי שמחייב ועדת חקירה? אבל מה אם הדברים אינם נכונים? במקרה כזה, המשמעות חמורה לא פחות. ראש ממשלת ישראל מציג לציבור תמונת איום שאינה תואמת את המציאות, אולי כדי להסיט את תשומת הלב מכישלון מדיניותו מול איראן, ואולי כדי להכין את הקרקע למתקפה נוספת, דווקא בתקופה רגישה כל כך מבחינה פוליטית. האמת, לדעתי, מורכבת ומדאיגה הרבה יותר. המערכה האחרונה לא פתרה את בעיית הגרעין האיראני. להפך. היא עלולה הייתה לקרב את איראן להחלטה לפתח נשק גרעיני. חיסולו של עלי חמינאי הסיר מהמערכת האיראנית מנהיג שלמרות כל עוינותו לישראל היה במשך שנים חסם משמעותי בפני החלטה לייצר פצצה. מינוי בנו, הרדיקלי ממנו, והתחזקות משמרות המהפכה עלולים להגדיל את הסיכון לשינוי בדוקטרינה הגרעינית האיראנית. ועדיין, חשוב לדייק: אין כיום ראיות פומביות לכך שאיראן קיבלה החלטה לייצר נשק גרעיני, ואף אין אינדיקציות ברורות לכך שהיא חידשה את העשרת האורניום. אחרי שתי מערכות שהוצגו לציבור כניצחונות היסטוריים, אחרי הבטחות שהאיום האיראני הורחק לדורות, אנחנו שוב שומעים מאותם אנשים בדיוק שאיראן היא איום קיומי שמחייב פעולה צבאית דחופה. ולכן... או שההישגים שהוצגו לנו היו מוגזמים מלכתחילה, או שהאסטרטגיה הישראלית מול איראן נכשלה באופן יסודי. ואולי שניהם. לפני שממהרים לגרור את ישראל למערכה נוספת, ראוי שמישהו יסביר לציבור מה בדיוק השתבש, מה ניתן להשיג הפעם שלא הושג במערכות הקודמות, ומה המחיר שישראל תידרש לשלם. ובמבחן הזה, קשה להשתחרר מהמסקנה שמצבה האסטרטגי של ישראל מול איראן כיום עלול להיות חמור יותר משהיה לפני המלחמות. וזו אולי העדות החמורה ביותר לכישלון האסטרטגיה הישראלית מול איראן.

Playing with Fire: Is Israel Provoking Another War with Iran? From increasingly aggressive statements by senior Israeli officials to reports of Israeli air exercises simulating strikes near Iran’s borders, there is growing concern that some in Israel may be deliberately pushing Tehran toward a military response. This is particularly dangerous at a time when Iran is already on high alert, anticipating another possible Israeli attack and preparing to respond forcefully. The latest developments raise serious questions about whether Israel’s political and security leadership is genuinely committed to preventing another confrontation, particularly in the sensitive period surrounding the Israeli elections. Conducting offensive air exercises under these circumstances is playing with fire. Either those responsible are seriously underestimating how Tehran might interpret such actions, or they are knowingly accepting the risk of provoking an Iranian response. The danger is that Israel could find itself dragged into another major confrontation with Iran, one whose strategic objectives remain unclear, whose consequences could be devastating, and whose timing inevitably raises questions about domestic political considerations. After two wars that failed to eliminate the Iranian threat, the last thing Israel needs is another military confrontation without a realistic strategy for achieving sustainable security gains or a credible exit strategy. Deterrence requires strategic judgment, not reckless brinkmanship. At a moment when the risk of miscalculation is exceptionally high, deliberately raising tensions is not a demonstration of strength. It is a dangerous gamble that could lead to a war neither Israel nor the United States can easily control. #IranWar‌

MAJOR BREAKING: Netanyahu, in a statement just moments ago, claims that Mojtaba Khamenei has decided to move forward to trying to develop nuclear weapons. He also states that “the only way to eliminate this threat once and for all is to topple the Iranian regime”. He has instructed Mossad and the IDF to “act accordingly”. There are many aspects to unpack here, but let’s start with the most obvious: Netanyahu has EVERY incentive to claim that Iran is sprinting for the bomb in order to ensure the United States returns to all-out war with Iran in the coming weeks. This is irrefutable. It should also be noted that it would not be surprising AT ALL if Iran actually DID decide to move to acquire nuclear weapons as a DIRECT result of the U.S./Israel war of aggression against Iran. This is almost certainly the only way that Iran can TRULY establish deterrence from future US/Israeli aggression in the future. But what stands out to me more than anything to me here is the clear admission about what this war has ALWAYS been about for Israel and the United States: Total REGIME CHANGE. All of these false goals of “proxy group funding”, “missile and drone research and development”… it’s all bullshit, and has been since day one. And not just from Israel, but from the United States as well. Washington DC doesn’t TRUST Iran to adhere to any deal they make with the United States. Not because there is basically… ANY precedent to support this distrust, but because the Israeli Lobby, Iran Hawks, Iranian Diaspora, and Neocons in Washington have such a deeply rooted HATRED of any and everything having to do with Iran. Their warped and twisted view of Iran should be evident to everyone at this point. The total inability for these people to view Iran in a realistic and rational way is one of the CORE REASONS why this war of choice from the U.S. and Israel has been such a total shit show from day one. But here is the other reality that needs to be acknowledged: For Israel, they don’t CARE how many people around the world suffer and die to support their goals of Greater Israel. They don’t care that civilians will pay the ultimate price for Israel to continue pushing for regime change even though it is VERY OBVIOUS that regime change in Iran is utterly delusional at this point. So is this claim from Netanyahu true? Maybe! But it doesn’t matter. He will say ANYTHING to continue this war, and he will DO ANYTHING to ensure that the Iranian government is overthrown. He doesn’t CARE how many people around the world suffer. He doesn’t care how many around the world DIE. And he most CERTAINLY does not give a single shit about the Iranian people. This is about Israel. This is about regional domination. This is about maintaining Israel’s control over the United States. This is the Bibi Show, we are just mere pawns to be sacrificed in his sick game.
