Who actually wants to spend their entire working life doing the same job in a factory?
Also, I suspect that Lutnick hasn't worked a single day in a factory his entire life, and he never will.

All this racist stuff is a reaction to national leadership abandoning the mainstream civic nationalism that ~90% of people actually want.
Bring that back, almost all of it ends.

A targeted tariff ending this sort of stuff would be totally fine. The problem is the moron in charge of our government doesn’t want to do targeted, constructive things, he wants to destroy the economy because he doesn’t understand what trade deficits are.

Two things that people online get consistently wrong now:
1) Criticism of bad speech is not censorship. It's also speech.
2) Supporting a legal right to say hateful stuff does not require defending the content of the bad speech or associating with the person who says it.

I don't know if Fetterman is ok or not, and these days I typically don't let the internet lay out only two opinions to choose from. But the people who are concern trolling about his health now 100% do not give a shit about his welfare, only his vote.

I regret to inform you that the MAGA drag queen believes that having black men in sports is a conspiracy to emasculate white men. I know this sounds like a bad game of Mad Libs, but I’m just reporting the news.
Ok now that I’m outed as a “racist” I have something else to say:
White men who watch, worship and obsess over black athletes playing a game that has nothing to do with them are CUCKS.
The NFL and NBA are little more than black worship, brainwashing and mindless distraction for the ever-asleep, emasculated White man.
Beta Whites will scream, cheer, shout and fight over what some girlfriend-punching black athlete did in a game but don’t care that their neighborhoods are being taken over by Islamists & Africans.
They don’t even vote in local elections but can tell you everything about King LeBron (who hates them) & other monsters.
It’s a psyop—a deliberate effort to put blacks on some sort of pedestal in order to emasculate Whites. Also: Rap.
Same in Europe with soccer. In the 80s the players were British & French. Now they’re all Jujugooboo and Banafofo.
And yes—they’re good at sports. Who the F cares? Why do you somehow feel a connection to them? Why platform & worship them?
SMH
End black worship.
Awaken, White Man

Protect all speech *from the government*.
It doesn't stop there from being consequences for said speech. People don't get a free pass to say whatever they want without social sanction. Because that's the First Amendment right of association for everyone else.

Let there be even the slightest wisp of a shred of a hint that Fetterman could be replaced by a Republican, & all talk of him resigning or facing a primary will vanish & be completely memory-holed.

I kind of think that having the government fund news sources is dangerous and a bad idea and if this Administration doesn’t convince you of the potential for mischief/malice I don’t know what to say.

Countries spend decades trying to move up the manufacturing ladder and stop making low-value-added, low-wage goods. Trump bizarrely wants to reverse that.
Reviving apparel production in America is not a pipe dream. It was not that long ago we were manufacturing 56% of U.S. apparel in America.
“Made in America” is an economic and national security priority of this administration.
@POTUS’ trade actions are ushering in a reshoring renaissance as companies pledge billions of dollars to expand U.S. manufacturing.

This is what right-wing socialism looks like:
One of the major questions in the wake of the Liberation Day tariffs is what will be done to support the domestic industries that stand to benefit from the policies.
@Chris_Griz explains why reindustrialization demands a comprehensive industrial policy, what those measures could look like, and why doing so is in not just America's national interest, but the interests of ordinary Americans.

“Capitalism leads to the atomization of individuals and the breakdown of communities.”
No—it liberates individuals from forced collectives. Capitalism allows people to form communities voluntarily, based on chosen values, not imposed roles. If some communities dissolve under freedom, it means they were held together by obligation, not genuine shared purpose. Voluntary association isn’t atomization—it’s the only moral form of community.
> “It commodifies aspects of life that shouldn’t be commodified.”
This is just a vague moral assertion with no principle behind it. No one is forced to sell anything under capitalism. You can give your time, your care, your labor freely—but you have no right to demand others do the same. Trade is not corruption. It’s consent in action. If something has value and someone wants to offer it in trade, who are you to say that’s wrong?
“It has an innately materialistic outlook that disregards the unquantifiable.”
Not at all. Capitalism protects your right to pursue spiritual, artistic, and emotional values—but it doesn’t force others to subsidize or conform to them. The fact that it deals in material goods doesn’t mean it denies higher values; it simply recognizes that those values are personal and can’t be centrally planned or redistributed.
“It has no checks that prevent the development of centralized power.”
This is completely backwards. Capitalism is what decentralizes power, because economic decision-making is spread across individuals acting voluntarily. Centralized power comes from state intervention—through regulation, favoritism, and coercion. That’s not capitalism. That’s cronyism—which Marxists often confuse with capitalism because they reject property rights and voluntary exchange entirely.
What you’ve offered isn’t a critique of capitalism. It’s a projection of your discomfort with freedom and personal responsibility, dressed up in abstract terms. Capitalism isn’t perfect because no system can make people perfect—but it’s the only moral system, because it leaves you free to live by your own mind, trade by your own values, and pursue your own happiness without sacrificing others or being sacrificed.
