Michael Marra ridiculed the SNP tax cut for being 'tiny' in January this year. Maybe BBC Scotland and STV can ask him if he holds the same scorn for Burnham's 'tiny' 40p a week households will save as a result of tariffs being removed from marmalade and gherkins etc.

So Russia is allowed to have massive military forces on their side of the border but Ukraine isn’t ?
Russia didn’t suddenly invent its security concerns when Ukraine’s NATO membership became a possibility. NATO had been expanding eastward for years, and in 2008 it formally declared that Ukraine would become a member. Eastern European countries have the right to consider their security, but why should Russia be expected to ignore its own? Their security concerns are treated as legitimate, while Russia’s are dismissed. That double standard is exactly the point.

Desperate stuff from the Unionists. This "devastated owner", a known Tory, was seen shortly after, with a big cheesy grin on her face, when Russel Findlay turned up. 🙄 No one can control the weather, so stop with the cheap point scoring. It's really desperate stuff...

One of the best things about Babylon 5 was letting Walter Koenig play against the type we all knew him for and really show off some range. Treat yourself and watch some Babylon 5 and see Koenig play an absolutely terrifying and delightful freak.

The Largs shop owner, and former Tory candidate, who berated Stephen Flynn after her shop was flooded spoke to BBC Scotland last year about drains being covered by tarmac. A work order to remove it was raised by Amey as a priority after the firm was contacted by BBC Scotland. So, was the work carried out? The article also says staff now remove stock off the floor every night and place sandbags down in the hope it will prevent possible damage. Was this done prior to the storm? Given the focus on Toni Dawson by the BBC and STV and the subsequent media attacks on Stephen Flynn, this story needs further examination. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2n…

STV News reporter Vanessa Taafft should take full responsibility for not informing viewers that shop owner Toni Dawson's attempts to politicise Storm damage is down to her being an ex-Tory Party candidate for the area. Doing the Tories dirty work, Vanessa? nitter.gq/msm_monitor/status/211…
STV reporter Vanessa Taaffe tonight accused Stephen Flynn of paving over drains in Largs. Moronic doesn't begin to cover this so-called question. Victims of the storm deserve better than a cheap jibe designed to provoke a reaction from the transport minister. Do better STV.

Opening Line from Sanderson of the Sunday Times "Hundreds of public sector workers in Scotland are costing the tax payer at least 27m a year because their jobs no longer exist and the SNP refuses to make them redundant" Just fundamentally untrue ⁉️ 1. Employee remains performing roles within their organisation 2. They can be asked to take roles at lower grades and pay 3. If they refuse or finding alternative suitable position is unlikely then they can be made redundant workforce.nhs.scot/policies/…

Now that the BBC has finally acknowledged that Andy Burnham *didn't* end rough sleeping in Manchester [it initially fell then rose again and is likely back at 2017 levels] we trust any Scottish Labour politicians claiming he ended rough sleeping will be corrected by journalists.

BBC’s Cook reporting from the Rosebank field, interviewing some oil guy who glibly threw in the fact that there are still multiple fields the same size to be exploited. Still not a chirp from the colonisers or colonised about their “running out in 5 years” lie in 2014. Bastards

The amount Jackdaw will cut bills: £0 The number of jobs it will support: 27 The net cost of Jackdaw & Rosebank to our economy: at least £90 billion. Life's too short to pretend that calls to drill baby drill are anything other but a fast track for us all to burn baby burn.
