I warmly congratulate Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingoes, on winning the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
This historic triumph reflects the determination, discipline, resilience, and exceptional talent of our young women, who have once again embodied the Nigerian spirit of excellence on the world stage.
May this landmark victory open the door to even greater achievements for Nigerian football and sports in general. – RMK

Earlier today, we flagged off the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Presidential Campaign in Bauchi. All across our dear country, the most pressing issues for our people is unprecedented hunger and rising insecurity. My message to the good people of Bauchi who turned up in their numbers to the flag off, was very simple, join us to Reset Nigeria so we can have a country that works for all, not just a few.
I am profoundly saddened and deeply disturbed by reports of violence directed at members and coordinators of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Obidient Movement in Delta State.
I unequivocally condemn the attacks against our coordinators, supporters, and fellow citizens who were merely exercising their democratic rights. Political violence has no place in a democracy and can never be justified. No political aspiration is worth the life of a Nigerian, and no dispute should be resolved through intimidation, physical attacks, or the destruction of property.
It is particularly troubling that, at a time when Nigeria urgently needs responsible leadership, some individuals continue to believe that political influence can be secured through thuggery, fear, and violence. Political authority should be attained through persuasion and the trust of the people, not by intimidating opponents.
I urge the Government and the security agencies to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into these attacks, identify those responsible, and ensure that they face justice, irrespective of their political affiliations. The safety and security of our members must be assured.
We will not be intimidated or silenced, nor will we relinquish our democratic space to violence. Our response will remain peaceful, lawful, and determined.
Nigeria belongs to every one of us. No political party or individual has exclusive ownership of the democratic space. Every Nigerian is entitled to organise, gather, express their views, and freely elect their leaders. Our nation needs constructive ideas rather than intimidation, responsible leadership rather than thuggery, and democratic contest rather than political violence.
I stand in solidarity with everyone affected in Delta State. A New Nigeria must be founded on justice, liberty, peace, and respect for the dignity of every citizen.
May God bless Delta State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. -PO

Seyi Makinde is someone i personally want to see become President of Nigeria someday but realistically speaking, Peter Obi is the only one capable of kicking that rubbish out of Aso Rock.
So, for me and my household, Peter Obi it is.

We live in democratic society so you can tell someone who to vote for. It’s a “to each his own” system. But if you walk outside your house and see how things are going with your eyes, your brain should tell you this current government is not supposed to return. If you use that same brain to look at every presidential candidate, it should also tell you Peter Obi is the man for the job regardless of what state he hails from.

Well in all of these gbas gbos, I still pity the poorest masses who can’t afford ordinary 2 square meal a day. We all will continue to suffer from the bad Governance. Your candidate, your choice. Own it and be proud of it.
As for me, this page is for PO.
Nigeria will be better.
Location really matters in destiny.
If you're based in Kogi, Ekiti, Kwara, Bayelsa or Uyo, my brother, you are very far from a successful destiny.
Forget statistics quoted by that Twitter page. Seeing is believing. If you like be swallowing figures. Better travel.

It's not enough to vote; we must stay till the votes are counted, and follow it up till the collation centers!

As an ex-supporter of PBAT, I can say this clearly-President Tinubu has not met our expectations... not even close.
By 2031, I'll be in my 30s. I can't allow you all to ruin my life. 😂
I strongly believe in Obi/Kwankwaso. ✅

As Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi took several actions to address gully erosion and petitioned the federal government for ecological support, though his record is viewed differently by political critics and supporters. [1, 2, 3]
Actions and Measures Taken During His Tenure
•Road Design and Drainage Policies: Obi blamed past poor road designs for worsening gully erosion and mandated that all new roads built by his administration include proper drainage systems linked directly to safe water discharge points. [1]
•
•Site-Specific Control Projects: His administration executed flood and gully erosion control works in specific communities, such as constructing a 6-kilometer network of concrete drains and a reinforced concrete channel in Adazi Nnukwu to route water safely into the Inway River, as well as undertaking interventions in Umo Equilobia and Amobia village. [1]
•
•Creation of NEWMAP (Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project): According to former Environment Minister John Odey, Obi was instrumental in pushing for and helping establish NEWMAP, a World Bank-backed project designed to finance and manage gully erosion across affected Nigerian states. [1]
•
•Federal Intervention Advocacy: Obi repeatedly appealed to the federal government for ecological funds and special assistance to tackle the state's severe erosion crises, linking road construction projects with erosion mitigation efforts. [1, 2]
•
Political Debates and Criticisms
•Criticisms: Political opponents—including President Bola Tinubu—have criticized Obi's record, alleging that his administration did not do enough to permanently halt the thousands of active gully erosion sites across Anambra State. [1, 2]
•
•Supporters' Defense: Supporters maintain that Obi faced a massive, geologically fragile crisis with limited state resources, making structural interventions like drainage reform and championing the World Bank NEWMAP initiative significant steps for the region. [1, 2, 3]
