The US never stops with sanctions with nations that do not possess nuclear weapons. And if you doubt that, ask Maduro and the former Shah of Iran. I again appeal to Rwandans on this hellsite to accept the reality of American power, stop basing your identity as Africans on the dictator who rules in Kigali who will one day die, and bring to an end the imperial conquest in #DRC that is killing your fellow Africans for no other reason than a government in Kinshasa you consider incompetent and a threat to a nearly decade long effort to steal Congo's resources to sell to the Chinese and Emirates. I say this clearly to Rwandans as someone who sees your potential being squandered by the delusions of the dictator who rules you in Kigali to stop the evil before it is too late and your people once again find yourselves staring at the abyss.
People who argue that American sanctions could damage Rwanda’s reputation are living in an alternate reality. The US is a bully, and countries it sanctions are often seen as standing up to the bully. That’s how bad US image has become. US sanctions are a perfect PR tool for any country.

#DRC: For the record, I do NOT support full financial sanctions of the type the US has levied on Russia for Rwanda. This would harm average Rwandans and other east Africans. And I highly doubt @SecRubio will push Rwanda and the broader region to the brink given how important the US dollar and banking is to its economy and the region. I support more surgical sanctions against the regime in Kigali but not harsh ones as average Rwandans are not the enemy of the US.
This is Dr. Von Batten. I applaud the people of the #DRC, their bold President, Félix Tshisekedi (@FelixUdps @Presidence_RDC), and their amazing diplomatic team for their relentless fight in D.C. to give President @PaulKagame a taste of his own medicine. AGOA is just the beginning. We believe that it is in the national security interests of the United States for true democracy to return to Rwanda. Unlike former President #Kabila, who rolled out the red carpet for his boss, #Kagame, to murder innocent Congolese and plunder the natural resources of the DRC, President Tshisekedi has made it clear: "Not on my watch." Today, this firm makes another prediction: If #Kagame continues on his #M23 course of action, he will one day either suffer the fate of #Gaddafi or that of Charles Taylor: Face the justice of a liberated Rwandan people or spend the rest of his life in an international prison cell. For the national security interests of the United States and the DRC are now intertwined. #FAFO @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SenateForeign @SFRCdems @USTradeRep @StateDept

Piers Morgan: What was it you were smirking about? Moser: I was actually laughing... A recently founded settler colony, Israel, which was founded in living memory... ranting at an Iranian, saying that his country is fake, Iran, one of the most ancient countries in the world.

“Zionism has brought millions of people to a state of utter derangement,” Pulitzer Prize winner Benjamin Moser said, noting that pro-Israel commentators struggle to even acknowledge that Palestinians are human. Moser questioned the value of platforming such views in the name of “balance,” comparing it to debating the merits of Nazism or inviting a member of the KKK to provide an opposing perspective when interviewing a Black guest. @WeTheBrandon | @BenMoser123

“How DARE Iran threaten to attack infrastructure while we threaten to attack their infrastructure!”
Marco Rubio on Iran: The Iranian regime is basically arguing that, "Unless we get what we want, we will destroy the energy infrastructure of the entire region." Just think about that. That's not normal behavior.

Rwanda propaganda geography lesson. 😭 Rwanda = 26.338 km². Kigali = 730 km². Actually built-up Kigali = only roughly 240 km². Then take the cleanest 0.001%, photograph the same boulevard from 17 different angles and present it as This is Rwanda.😂 Rwanda is a SCAM!
Rwanda 🇷🇼: Look how these Kids are struggling to cross this poor bridge going to school 🏫! This is happens when Criminal @PaulKagame spends Rwandan money 💰 to buy weapons to go to kill innocent people in the DRC 🇨🇩‼️⚠️ #Kagame, you're ashamed 😔 ⚠️‼️

On October 30, 2026 Ms Raïssa Ujeneza, the daughter of Ms Ingabire Umuhoza, attended the Roll Call for Freedom, a ceremony honouring political prisoners organised by the 30 October Coalition and the National Endowment for Democracy, held in Washington, D.C. During the event, members of the public gathered at the Lincoln Memorial to honour political prisoners and those working for their freedom. Participants read out the names of prisoners from countries around the world to ensure that their stories were heard in the heart of the nation’s capital. Ms Ujeneza also spoke about her mother. She described her as a capable leader and a strong, determined advocate for human rights, drawing much of her strength from her faith. However, since her re-arrest in June last year, she has been denied the right to attend church services with other prisoners. Despite all this, she continues to dedicate herself to creating a better future for Rwanda. Ms Ujeneza ended her speech by saying: “I am here to tell everyone: Mum, you are not alone.” #Rwanda #PoliticalPrisonersDay #FreedomStartsWithAName #FreeVictoireIngabire

Two 20th century depictions of Africa: A Western cartoon depicting Africa condescending as a savage place devoid of civilisation A Soviet cartoon depicting Africa’s rich culture and beauty As European media outlets ignore the Russia-Africa Summit or express bewilderment about why so many African leaders have visited Russia to build stronger relations, they should remember their own history to see why millions of Africans favour cooperation with BRICS instead of Europe.
Vladimir Putin🇷🇺 on the difference between Russia’s attitude to Africa and Europe’s attitude: ‘Russia has never considered African nations as territories to be competed over…we have not pursued any colonial policies. We helped them liberate themselves from neocolonialism.’

Meanwhile Rwanda is falsifying the data to impress the west while they have nothing and citizens aren’t allowed to cry about the hunger they are suffering. Africa is working together with projects that benefit the population for long term while Rwanda is waging war against DRC.

The question is: In this day and age, do Rwandans have to “go into trenches” to fight for what is clearly stipulated in the law? How often should we go back to the drawing board? Indeed; “We learn from history that we don’t learn from history”. #Focus ✌🏽

Back in 2025, as sanctions mounted, Kagame told Rwandans to "funga mkanda," to tighten their belts. This May, he admitted the US sanctions "hurt, absolutely." His regime knows who pays. In the short term, the pain starts at the edges: foreign banks backing away, international transfers getting harder, and military purchases becoming slower and more expensive. Over time, that cost spreads. Workarounds are paid from the same budget that funds schools and hospitals. Companies linked to the security establishment may lose foreign partners and contracts. If investors start treating Rwanda as risky, pressure on the franc could eventually reach prices. Citizens are asked to tighten their belts so the war in Congo can go on. How much they end up paying depends on one decision by Kagame's regime: whether to keep backing M23.
Have any experts or journalists assessed the specific implications of US sanctions against Rwanda Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Zigama CSS? In particular could these sanctions affect employment, access to financial services, government spending, prices, or the livelihoods of ordinary Rwandan citizens? What direct and indirect consequences should the public expect in the short and long term? Cg you have to be Ikigarasha to ask yourself these questions
