it is kind of funny that Trump is in favor of literally every bad thing in the world
Donald Trump says "artificial intelligence" is a very bad and inaccurate name" and wants to replace it with "super intelligence."
"In short order, we will be officially BANNING the term, ‘AI/Artificial Intelligence,’ in all relevant documents, and everything else, due to its inaccuracy. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

It also confirms for me what I already knew, ai is meant to create cheap slop for the masses while the rich still get to enjoy fine high art, luxury, and craftsmanship

Travis Knight says that LAIKA will never use generative AI in their films.
“AI is theft. It’s the ingestion of years and years and years of human creativity and ingenuity, regurgitated back. It has no humanity. It has no spirit.”

I don't want to “download the app” to pay for parking. I don't want to “create an account” to see a menu. I don't want to “provide feedback” on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash

Can the 60k people being given the boot from Microsoft all get together and form a new company that builds a version of Windows and Office that doesn’t have AI, doesn’t use Sharepoint or OneDrive and doesn’t suck?

freddie's cup ring has put the oilers under a spell and they will all flock to north carolina one by one
Connor McDavid praises the Carolina Hurricanes and perfectly describes their identity:
“You can't say enough good things about them, really. They do everything so well. Really, really impressive. It feels chaotic, but they're so organized amongst the chaos. It's really, really impressive. They're a great team, and there's lots to learn from them for sure.” #CauseChaos #CarolinaCulture #LetsGoOilers

Good to know.
Taylor Hall says he feels good and thinks he’ll be back in the lineup tomorrow night when the #Canes battle the Bruins at Lenovo Center.
The forward missed five games due to an upper-body injury suffered on Oct. 13.

Jokingly asked Kochetkov is he asked for a percentage of Nikishin’s deal, since Nikishin switched to Kochetkov’s agent.
“I asked.”
I’d trade Jason Blake for just about anyone else out there. He’s 53 years old and last played in the NHL in 2012.
Keeping his kid right here in Raleigh, though. Thanks.
Replying to @Sportsnet @FriedgeHNIC
You’re telling me they wouldn’t trade Jason Blake in the deal to get Hellebuyck come on that’s ridiculous.

High-speed rail can spend decades stuck in planning and approval, yet data centers seem to spring up almost overnight, often with communities and ecosystems left to deal with the consequences. It’s wild how quickly we can build infrastructure for corporate profit compared to infrastructure that serves the public.

I don't think Valve is going far ENOUGH tbh. If a game is AI generated, the label should be the same text size as the title, and put right under it. Fuck Tim Sweeney, and fuck generative AI.
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI.
The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.”
Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.
