There's something remarkable about a system built on the understanding that power must always be challenged.
What looks like dysfunction, disagreement or gridlock can be the very thing protecting liberty.
The American system was never meant to make it easy for one person, party or institution to get its way. You see the dangers of concentrated power throughout the world. It was designed to distribute power, create friction and keep ambition in check.
And that's something worth being proud of.
Rights and freedoms have been written into all constitutions of the world, but words on paper alone don't protect them. What matters is having institutions with the independence and authority to defend those rights and hold power accountable.
That's the genius of the American constitutional design. Not just declaring liberty, but building a system of checks and balances to protect it.
The friction is intentional. The restraint is the point. 🇺🇸

we’ve been building consumer crypto apps for the past 5 years
last year, we finally got our first big hit with @addicteddotfun
since then, we shipped 3 more games
the results?
all failed
we tried making tokenomics more sustainable. the game became boring
we kept addicted’s core mechanics and added battles. nothing changed
not only did we fail to make something better than addicted, we lost money on all
jailed burned more money on dev and audits
for heisted, we gave all revenue back to players
we were completely lost
then tokenized stocks started emerging
it became obvious to me that this is the biggest meta of this cycle
so we thought
what’s the most ambitious thing we could build with this new onchain primitive?
one idea stood out
acquiring a public company together
remember ConstitutionDAO?
in 2021, the internet raised $47M to buy the US Constitution
now imagine in 2026, the internet coming together to acquire a publicly company
most stock pairings on robinhood today are megacaps
but microcaps are way more fun imo
buying controlling stake in a public company becomes actually possible
that’s when everything clicked
for the past 2 months, we’ve been locked in building the protocol, working with an authorized issuer to bring microcaps onchain, and figuring out how to make this possible
last week, we finally completed the audit
and we’re almost ready

yes, a shitcoin is acquiring a toilet company
$SHIT is paired with $FGI, a NASDAQ-listed toilet products company
$FGI is currently around $10M market cap
imagine what happens if the internet bought a toilet company together
