Women podcasts exist to destroy marriages. Change my mind.
Hailey Bieber says sex with a third person might sound exciting, but she believes a threesome with Justin, would destroy the trust they spent years building. “It’s funny because I feel like those ideas can be really fun and, like, sound really exciting.” “It doesn’t work for the two of us.” “Some people are in, like, open relationships and, like, it works for a time, but I feel like in the end it always doesn’t end up working.” “So I think the second you make the decision to do that, there is never going back from that.” “We worked very hard to, like, be in the space that we’re in now and, like, trusting each other and there’s, like, such a beautiful trust and bond that I just don’t think that’s something I would be comfortable with.” “I could ask him about any person, any past girl, anything and he’d be like, ‘Oh yeah, like this this this and this.’” “And I think that made me trust him a lot because I’m like, ‘There’s nothing I don’t know.’”

I was in Starbucks at Nelson Mandela place, Glasgow, this morning. Neither member of staff could speak English when I entered, no.....it's not a joke or bullshit. Both just awkwardly standing there. Go there if your local, check for yourself. Two Asian folks serving, a queue of utterly perplexed people all too polite to ask or even acknowledge the utterly bizarre situation in front of them. After about 3 minutes, another Asian member of staff appeared from downstairs, she could speak a little English and was relaying the orders to them in (Gujarati I think) I mean, what in actual FUCK? Then another member of staff appeared....huge with blue hair....yup. The woman next to me said to her "I don't think your staff understand what we're saying" She snapped back "they're adjusting to the Glaswegian accent, they'll get used to it" I jumped in and said "I'm not Glaswegian, I spoke perfectly clear, I don't think it's the accent, I don't think they speak any English" She then told me to leave if I wasn't happy with the service. Mental, just mental.

Under the UK Prevent Duty framework, individuals and institutions are required to identify and report concerns regarding radicalization and extremist ideologies. If a student enrolled at the University of Sunderland is identified as holding or promoting extremist ideologies, a formal report should be submitted to Northumbria Police. Please compile any relevant evidence or details regarding this individual and forward them directly to @northumbriapol We already have a lot of problems in the world!
🚨 Officially pursing my MBA at the University of Sunderland. A beginning of something great!

Visited London for the first time in quite a while. Harrowing experience… 1. They’re lying about the numbers. The next census is going to be absolutely barbaric reading. 2. Things are far worse than most people outside of London could possibly imagine. The entire city has been turned into a middle Easter bazaar and a sub continental slop market.

This one son is chika and he can see that it is not currently looking good for chika, baba chika want to scatter everywhere so that in chaos on Yoruba land chika can benefit. I have always seen men like u as what u really are, pple that paint y’all as victims are who I blame.
Do you know how crazy it is that some of the tribal identities we are so fixated on were engineered by Oyinbo? Let’s use the “Yoruba peoples” tribal identity as an instance. The Yoruba tribal peoplehood was artificially engineered for easier colonial administration. We were not a monolithic group. The Ẹkiti, Òndó, Ìjẹ̀bú, Ẹgba, Ìjẹ̀ṣà, Ìgbómìnà and others were not always “Yorubas.” If you time-travelled to 1825 and insisted that an Ẹgba person was Yoruba, they might not only be confused — it is likely that they could be offended. Treating Yoruba as an ancient, primordial tribe is anachronistic and historically indefensible. It is well documented that the word “Yoruba” was an exonym — a tag given by outsiders. Ahmad Baba of Timbuktu used “Yariba” around 1613–1615 for the Oyo. Northern traders (Hausa and others) applied it specifically to the Oyo peoples. In fact, there is no evidence of self-use of the word Yoruba by the precolonial Oyo peoples themselves as a broad ethnic label, and none whatsoever among the non-Oyo groups. During the Kiriji Wars (1877–1893), the Ẹkiti-Parapọ alliance (Ẹkiti, Ìjẹ̀ṣà and allies including elements of Ìjẹ̀bú, Ẹgba, Ìgbómìnà and others) fought the Ibadan military state (heir to Oyo imperial power) for autonomy. It was not Yoruba fighting Yoruba — they were independent nations fighting to protect their sovereignty. So how did everyone become Yoruba? The colonialists homogenized all of us by mechanically standardizing the Ọ̀yọ́-Ìbàdàn speech into a uniform, artificial written language called Yorùbá Àjùmọ̀lò. Samuel Ajayi Crowther’s 1843 Vocabulary of the Yoruba Language (and subsequent Bible work) was based on the Oyo dialect. To save money on printing Bibles and schoolbooks, European recategorized distinct languages as “local dialects.” Then, through Lord Lugard’s Native Authority system after the 1914 Amalgamation (formalized in the Native Authority Ordinance of 1916 and later revisions), the British state turned this missionary work into a tool of governance. Our ancestors became stuck in rigid “tribal” census categories, they appointed standardized rulers to collect taxes, and turned sovereign citizens of independent city-states and republics into predictable, manageable colonial subjects. Yes, this identity is real today. But its reality is relatively modern, administrative, and politically charged, not primordial. Many of us mistakenly wear our tribal identity as though it were a sacrosanct, eternal or primordial delineation: it is not. Like the Yoruba tribal categorization, many others are just neat little folders they fostered to organize us. If it was a bond formed for your enemy’s convenience, then it is malleable enough to be reformed for strategic survival, defense, and collective prosperity.

Bride friends shouldn't even wear aso-ebi because they are not ebi. I've always wondered why friends of the brides suddenly call themselves aso-ebi babes. Are you her family?
Replying to @LolahRia
It’s not that deep Lola, “asoebi” has been adopted by other tribes igbos included. The term I believe means “uniform” right ? In Igbo traditional weddings (igba nkwu) the bride has a train as well that wears “akwa ofu” we are in 2026, This should be the least

Typical Ibo propaganda. The ovewhelming majority of Yoruba men, from all levels of society, marry Yoruba women - But Ibo's propaganda culture flows from Nnamdi Azikiwe and his West African Pilot, down to Ojukwu/Chinua Achebe with Radio Biafra, who were losing battle-after-battle in Nigeria's Civil War, but broadcasting victories to the Ibo heartland, further down to Nnamdi Kanu and these hordes of pseudo-intellectual ekuke on Social Media. Whenever Ibo desire a particular reality, they rely heavily on delusional propaganda, and cheap reverse psychology. It has never worked, but Ibo refuse to learn. Very unfortunate.

You freaks are all insane istg You're not a Yoruba man You're not a Yoruba woman either. This cultural debate about marriage rituals isn't something you should feel this strongly about You don't even know how this discourse started, you're just jumping in without any context
Of course reason you see they have women doing ronu and bigotry is about competition lol

Armed guards at the door. Opioids offered on repeat. Apple Pay at my bedside. Welcome to the American Emergency Room. The French think it bankrupts you. Americans think France does it for free. I’ve been to the ER in both. Both are wrong. Mountain bike crash, dislocated and fractured shoulder. I’m French, I live in San Francisco, and I take slightly too many risks. Let’s compare. Security 🇺🇸 Kaiser in Marin. Three armed guards and a metal detector. My phone set it off, so with my shoulder out of its socket I walked through again. And again. Then a pat-down. 🇫🇷 A couple of unarmed guys with walkie-talkies. Still not sure what they’re for. Wait 🇺🇸 Three people in the waiting room. Seen in 15 to 30 minutes. 🇫🇷 Broken hand: packed room, 4 hours before anyone touched me. Records 🇺🇸 Kaiser is vertically integrated. Insurer, hospital, doctors: one system. They had my file before I sat down. 🇫🇷 Every new doctor is a fresh context window. Zero history, maybe a printout from last time. Infrastructure 🇺🇸 Small hospital, serious kit. Straight to the trauma bay: real bed, IV, vitals monitoring, ready for surgery if needed. All imaging on the spot. 🇫🇷 Broken hand: a plastic chair and a Doliprane. Drugs 🇺🇸 Strong opioids were the default offer. I said no. They insisted. The doctor came in personally, confused why someone in that much pain would refuse. I stuck to Tylenol, an anti-inflammatory, to put the shoulder back in. Yes, it hurt. No, I didn’t tap out. My mom is proud of me. 🇫🇷 Broken hand: Doliprane, opioids never mentioned. I have friends who got their shoulder popped back in with nothing at all. US default: opioids. French default: Doliprane. Bill 🇺🇸 Every nurse warned me: “You’re French, this bill is going to traumatize you.” Before discharge, someone came to my bed to collect payment. Apple Pay, from the hospital bed. $300. For everything. On a ~$500/month Kaiser plan. 🇫🇷 A flat ~€20 ER fee, usually reimbursed by your mutuelle. The real bill shows up later, on your payslip (see below) followup 🇺🇸 Kaiser called me right after to set up follow-up and physio, all in their system. So far, so good. 🇫🇷 Broken hand: discharged, figure it out yourself. A friend dislocated her finger. They put it back in wrong, sent her home with bad instructions, it locked up, and she needed surgery months later. Still not fixed. “Free healthcare” in France It’s not free when your marginal tax rate nears 70% with social charges. And if you want quality care fast, more and more people pay for private clinics anyway. Verdict One person, one data point. But the care was 10x better than anything I’ve had in France, for a price that’s completely fine. France has a lot to learn. And yes, I refused the narcotics to stay sharp enough to launch a NanoCorp from my hospital bed. Launch your first company run by an AI agent: nanocorp .so

Alex Onyema is from Anambra state. He’s the CEO of Airpeace Air peace flies international. Why isn’t his airline taking off from his region? Is he a bigot or he also doesn’t want the progress of his own region?
Replying to @Bond_not_james
One day you’ll understand that things are not straightforward in Nigeria as you think. Give another International airtline frequency slot into Enugu and see if PH Int’l will not collapse. Whenever air France lands in PH, see the number of Passengers from it going to SE

A disingenuous take. Yoruba women are ridiculed on this app and beyond for their culture, lifestyle, have their beauty scrutinized and their language deemed razz. There is social engineering to make them undesirable by women who want to be them.
Bigotry is undoubtedly one of our biggest problems in this part of the world. That one Yorùbá cultural custodian, for instance, would have no problem with a fellow Yorùbá man marrying a woman from New York or Britain. But let that same man bring home a wife from Anambra, Enugu, or even Edo, and suddenly, all hell breaks loose. Apparently, marrying across continents is more acceptable than marrying across Nigerian ethnic lines. If your culture can accommodate a foreigner but not your fellow Nigerian, perhaps the problem isn't cultural preservation. Perhaps, it's ethnic chauvinism disguised in cultural attire.

It’s cos of Yoruba men like this that those non Yoruba girls on TikTok call Yoruba men submissive and docile. See as you Dey shake cos dem dey tell a non Yoruba woman that she is not Yoruba which is the fact. You Dey tiptoe make her ego no wound 😂
What is the use of statements like this? Saying this to the mother of Yoruba kids because of a Yoruba-themed wedding is not good.

he wasted two weeks. i wasted 18 months. not africa. cambodia. contract with the fao under world health org. pesticide use had contaminated soil. taught them alternative pesticides (tobacco, chillis and soap). brought in tons of grain - resistant grasses, grains and legumes. spent two seasons teaching them the basics of planting through to growth cycles and harvest methods. how to categorize and store. how to keep records. how to maximize yield. 18 months. left in july. by the time it hit september they had used all the grain to ferment hooch and flooded their fields in the hopes it would fill with fish and frogs, which you 'harvest' by poisoning the water, collecting the corpses and leaving to dry in the sun under a layer of insecticide to keep the flies off. primitive people are primitive for a reason. fucking morons out there with their 'but muh imperialisms and colonialisms of wypipo' have zero idea what it takes to get them out of the stone age. it's safe to assume all civilizations operate to the peak of their ability, it just so happens than a 30iq tribal community has a peak that tops out at anything more than thinking ten minutes ahead.

My uncle did a mission trip to Africa to teach a village how to raise pigs for food. They flew in with a bunch of pigs, built pens for them, Food and water troughs, and taught them how to breed them so they could always have meat. Two weeks of work and teaching. They went back a year later to check on the village. They had thrown a giant party the night after my uncle left, slaughtered and ate all the pigs, sold the feeders and fencing, and were really pissed off that the mission didn't bring them more pigs.

Expand operations. Acquire the brand. Build internationally. Retain ownership and use the income to support your community. One of the more remarkable business success stories in America!
Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida. I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage. In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.
