The UN has backed an African-led push to move beyond the centuries-old Mercator map, voting 164–1 for more accurate representations of Africa and other regions.
For those who like to understand what this means, I published what the “Correct the Map” resolution means here:

Dear Obidients,
Respectfully, take your fight directly towards Tinubu’s supporters and APC members.
Kindly leave Seyi Makinde out of it. He is a legal Presidential candidate with all rights to contest, he is nobody’s distraction, he is nobody’s hidden agenda.
Thank you.
Unrelated, but see Abuja boys trooping to this new place to do a photoshoot since its completion. If this were to be somewhere in Osogbo or Ado-Ekiti, the gatekeepers of civilisations would have called us local. 🤡

A Lagosian who hasn’t seen light for 10 days will trek through smelly streets, dodging like a thousand street thugs, to jump on a bus with wooden seats, & still have the audacity to tell someone living in ABK or Ib that they are living in a village.

The best part about Nigerian Pidgin is how constantly it evolves. A random Nigerian can invent an entirely original sentence, and another Nigerian will understand it perfectly. The language can only truly be mastered through total immersion.

This is one of those tweets everyone needs to see.
When I got laid off from Microsoft, I got into a company in Lagos that felt paying 600k naira a month was doing me a favour. I had to take the offer to keep body and soul together.
Was there for 6 months until I fell out with the MD and started looking out. That was when I started my training outfit but couldn't quite get traction.
Anyway, after leaving this NGO, I spent another 5 months in the wilderness, literally. Ate rejections almost every other day. Was living on the goodwill of friends and relations. Basically wondering what to get out of life.
An Antler rep came knocking at the time and was in the process of fast tracking my application to the Antler cohort at Kenya. Guess what? My passport had expired. Ran to go fast track my passport, after a few days emailed the partner but was told it was too late.
I remember laying in my room laughing hysterically, mulling to myself, "who I offend?"
Thankfully at that time, I applied to Andela and the process started for another 2 months. I got into Andela and my monthly salary was my previous annual salary. This trend continued in a subsequent company. Use am run one or two that year.
But the point is, while I was enjoying this new reality, I asked myself, "why did you worry all those times?" In hindsight, there was no reason to. I should have just chilled for 5 months, enjoyed myself.
But we are human and can only understand life in hindsight. As long as you believe this it will work out for you: EVERYTHING will turn out better than you expected, just stop worrying.

Nne, stop this! So because NYSC posted you to Osun, you have already converted the entire state into a crime scene? Biko, who told you all these stories, and what evidence do you have?
I have lived in Osun, and I find this description both offensive and profoundly unfair. You are entitled to your fears, but you are not entitled to manufacture a reputation for an entire state and its people.
Osun is not your social media horror movie set. It is home to hardworking people, families, professionals, businesses, universities and communities with a rich cultural heritage.
If you have genuine security concerns, by all means, ask questions and seek reliable information. But this kind of sensationalism is unacceptable.
Ndo, but ka anyi kwuo eziokwu!
Go and serve. Experience the state. Then come back and tell us what you actually encountered, not what somebody’s WhatsApp folklore told you.

Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, France and Japan - they offer fully funded scholarships
I spent my entire day working on this. Here are 300+ universities offering fully funded Master’s scholarships for 2027.
In this drive, you’ll find universities offering:
• Fully funded scholarships without IELTS requirements, where officially permitted.
• Fully funded scholarships accepting Third Class or Second Class Lower degrees, where applicable.
• Fully funded scholarships that accept applicants without extensive work experience.
I put this together to help more people discover Master’s opportunities they can apply for in 2026 - 2027.

Two things I love most in this letter:
- strongly worded
- signed by the PS
And yeah, this is long overdue!
Dear Nigerian religious fanatics,
US politics isn’t religious conquest. El-Sayed didn't win a Senate seat because of his faith, nor did Mike Rogers lose because Christians failed to unite. Elections hinge on policies, citizens' expectations, and trust in leaders!

Half my family is muslim and they are the most amazing cousins, uncles, aunties, i could ever wish for.
The problem isnt the religion
The problem is the extremist who use the religion as cover.
You cannot taint an entire religion because of your bias.
