Actions speak louder than words. Mayor Chow, I appreciate the words you shared today. But Toronto’s Jewish community has needed more than words for the past three years. You didn’t attend the October 7 memorial in 2024. You didn’t attend the Walk with Israel in 2025 and 2026. You didn’t attend the mayoral forum on antisemitism and community safety just last month. When Council had the opportunity to strengthen Toronto’s bubble zone from 20 metres to 50 metres to better protect synagogues, schools and other community institutions, you voted against the expansion. And while Jewish Torontonians were living through an unprecedented rise in antisemitism, you chose to publicly use the words “genocide in Gaza.” So yes, I welcome your commitment today that you will “never waiver” on the safety of Jewish Torontonians. But Jewish Torontonians shouldn’t have to wait until an election campaign to hear that their safety is a priority. Leadership isn’t measured by statements posted on October 7. It’s measured by whether you show up when our community needs you. Actions speak louder than words.
Today marks three years since Hamas’ horrific terror attacks that killed 1,200 Israelis. We remember those who were murdered, including eight Canadians, and again express our deepest condolences for their unimaginable loss. May their memories be a blessing Toronto is a global city and events around the world impact us deeply. More than ever, Torontonians must remain united against rising antisemitism, confront it wherever it appears, and reaffirm our collective right to live together in peace and safety.  As mayor, I will never waiver on my commitment to the safety of Jewish Torontonians. The Jewish community should not need police presence to go to a synagogue, or a community centre or simply to live proudly Jewish in our city. We will continue to invest in keeping communities safe and strong and will take action until every Torontonian can practice their faith without fear. We all must be dedicated to confronting antisemitism and hate in all its forms, and building a caring city where everyone belongs.

Thank you for this Steve 💯 Accurate I've been a First Hand Witness to the Heartwrenching Devastation which is why I tried to create change but our Gov't (most notably the Federal Justice Minister at the time- David Lametti) DID NOT CARE until they do nothing else will change

Impaired driving should be one of the most condemned crimes in Canada. It’s reckless, violent, and too often fatal. Yet our justice system continues to treat it like a lapse in judgment rather than what it truly is: a deliberate criminal act. Judges often show sympathy to impaired drivers—especially first-time offenders—treating them as “otherwise good people” who simply made a bad decision. Meanwhile, the victims and their families are left devastated, their pain minimized by a legal system that prioritizes the accused. Our courts emphasize rehabilitation over accountability. That may be fine for low-level offences—but not for actions that destroy lives. Even when someone is killed, sentences are light, parole comes quickly, and justice feels hollow. It sends a clear message: killing someone while impaired won’t cost you much. Impaired riving needs serious, automatic consequences. If you kill someone while impaired, you should serve real time—no parole in two or three years. Repeat offenders should face lifetime driving bans. No exceptions. Until people fear the legal consequences, they’ll keep taking the risk. Behind every impaired driving death is a preventable tragedy. We don’t need more compassion for offenders—we need justice for the innocent lives lost. Canada must stop making excuses and start making examples.

This is The KiIIing Roads. A documentary so we can bear witness to October 7. It's being doused with 1-star reviews. YouTube removed it once. It’s back — for now. They aim to erase history to replace it with twistory. Do not allow this. Please share. xitter.cf/DahliaKurtz/status/184…

It's disappointing to learn that this is AI generated and I wonder how often it is the case with what we are seeing in general on Twitter these days. I wish it was a requirement to label anything AI as AI.

From Earthquake Canada: We have located a seismic event at 1:05 pm EST, magnitude MwMN=1.3 just North of Milford Bay (details can be found below). Based on the waveforms and event depth we suspect this was a quarry blast. Note we have confirmed the event did not happen at the Muskoka Rock Company quarry on Hewlitt Rd (near the epicenter), but there are a number of smaller quarries in the immediate vicinity from which this event may have originated. We encourage anyone who may have felt this event to fill out a Did-you-feel-it report here earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.c… Info - earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.c…

It's highly unlikely that after 15 months @tdsb does not have the results of its investigation into the death of Richard Bilkszto! That investigation was paid for by public money from a public institution. If staff from TDSB played a part in his death it's time that we know the truth. @rchernoslin @shelleylaskin @NeethanShan @NunziataPatrick @MacLeanWard2 @LibanHassan_ @DrPeiTO @TrusteeHastings @JamesX_Li @Zakir4TDSB @MannaWongTDSB @YaliniR_Ward21 @Anu_Sris @MalikaGhousCA @SaraEhrhardt @AlexisDawsonTO @VoteWilliamsTO @gregbradyTO @AlexpiersonAMP @jerryagar1010 @Izzy74 @NEWSTALK1010 @RebelNewsOnline @SueAnnLevy @jonkay @sarkonakj @calphonso @KojoInstitute

PLEASE watch this clip of Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow - just the first 2 minutes. She gets a perfect opportunity via a long (hey, I have my fair share also) question that's opening up all doors to explain her various explanations (that completely contradict each other) re: the July 7 snub.....and this is what you get: "It doesn't matter" "I wore black" (I cannot physically believe she said this!) "I count on my staff to tell me where to go" cp24.com/video/2024/10/10/i-… To her credit - she admitted finally apologizing....despite repeatedly throwing her staff under the bus. So how much credit can be granted here? I'm watching my own physical health...I simply cannot led my blood boil any hotter than it already has on this front. I'll let you watch & comment.
