Old enough to remember when Artur Davis decided to vote against Obamacare when he was looking to run for governor in Alabama. Pretty much killed any future in the party. Stevens would be lucky to get 5% in a primary now.

I'm so tired of these communist candidates who don't love this country. President Trump loved America so much, he wouldn't leave even during Vietnam when he could have been a war hero. Instead, he put his country first.
Ole Miss has class and would never. They throw empty bourbon bottles like gentlemen they are.
Have you been defrauded by big Oreo? Know your rights!
Double Stuf Oreos aren't double stuffed. A high school math teacher in Queensbury, New York had his class weigh 10 of each kind, then weigh the plain wafers separately and subtract them out. Double Stuf came in at 1.86 times the filling of a regular Oreo. Mega Stuf came in at 2.68.
Nabisco said the recipe calls for double the creme and they weren't familiar with what happened in the classroom. Insider ran the same test later and got about the same number.
I think an Ed Sheran and Kid Rock concert would be interesting at least. Might be what he winds up with.
Sometimes you think stupid is just an act. And then something like this happens.

Organized labor built the middle class - and my family. And I am so very grateful. On this Labor Day lets celebrate all that unions built and thank them for their labors. But they also deserve a government that works for them, which is exactly what I will give them as Alabama’s governor.
Clowns.

No federal holidays in March, April or August. Pick one folks. Dolly day for all.
Backers of data centers using shell companies, secret negotiations and NDAs to get their projects built is not helping their cause. It just makes it look like there is something to hide.

Trump: Natalie Harp is the only person who loves me as much as my wife and children. She'll never leave me.
Ossoff: Trump just wants to travel with Natalie.

If I was leading Taiwan I would find a way to get Ukraine’s drone tech and repurpose quite a few factories six months ago.
We no longer have a carrier presence in the Pacific…
The debate about the food aboard the Lincoln and now the George Washington is largely a red herring. Arguing about food substitutes an emotional argument for a stark practical one. The real issue is how the war on Iran is burning through equipment and people. I.e., now the Lincoln, along with the Ford, will most certainly undergo maintenance for an extended period because of the length of their deployments in support of the war in Iran. Those deployments will also hurt retention (this was a major issue during the Iraq War in particular; remember stop loss?) And the question is: for what? It’s not like they were chasing the Imperial Japanese Navy across the Pacific following an attack like Pearl Harbor.
Now the Administration, despite all the warnings about Taiwan and a China-focused National Security Strategy, is moving our only carrier out of the Pacific. This is a major strategic signal, coming on the heels of news that we’ve burned through other major capabilities such as interceptors, radars, stand-off munitions, and a large chunk of the MQ-9 fleet, among other things.
It is clear that the Iran war is not only detrimental to US national security, but a potential strategic blunder worse than Iraq if we don’t cut bait; and this is the conversation pro-war types want to avoid at all costs.

All the clown trolls arguing with someone who clearly knows what they are talking about. We have a war run by incompetents who want to blame the sailors for their failures in leadership.
🚢What is the issue with USS Abraham Lincoln?🚢
Everyone should have heard about the issues on board USS Abraham Lincoln
▶️Poor food quality on board
▶️Crew members who have jumped or attempted to jump overboard
▶️Extended deployment in a combat zone
The question is why is this happening.
1️⃣LOGISTICS: The loss of bases in Bahrain, UAE and Oman has forced the @USNavy, the Military Sealift Command @MSCSealift and Defense Logisitics Agency @DLAMIL to source stores from bases in East Africa or East Asia.
MSC has committed a fleet of logistics ships to deliver fuel, food, and ammunition, but those ships have to sail thousands of miles, vice hundreds to keep two dozen combatants at sea.
Even at the height of the Second World War, the logistics train used by the Navy was shorter than the one being used now in the northern Arabian Sea.
There is an issue with adequate warehouse and refrigeration storage at Diego Garcia and the ability to deliver stores to that site as there is just one contracted ship in that service.
As the US Navy ships are not making routine port calls in the region, they are completely dependent on stores loaded on a ship in Kenya, Singapore, Japan, or Korea and arriving on board after weeks already afloat.
2️⃣During the Second World War, Korean War, Vietnam, Persian Gulf War and Iraq War, the US Navy understood the concept that ships need down time from combat operations to reset the crew and equipment.
Typical rule of thumb is if you have 3 or 4 carriers deployed, one is back refueling, replenishing and resetting.
The issue in the northern Arabian Sea is that only two carriers are deployed. @ianellisjones from @thewarzonewire shows Lincoln and Bush in the region with Washington in SE Asia. Two carriers can only provide 24/7 at the expense of the crew, equipment and materiel.
Working on a ship is GROUNDHOG DAY... everyday is the same. No days off, no vacation, and you live where you work. This place a massive strain on everything, particularly the mental stress on young sailors.
Even in WWII, the fast carriers of Task Force 38/58 would only stay at sea for a month at a time. TF 77 off Korea and Yankee Station in Vietnam followed similar models.
3️⃣The underlining issue is fighting a war - and this is a war - with a peacetime Navy and mentality. There are not enough assets in place to support this mission, and this mission is grinding down the readiness of the militart to fight future conflicts.
This is the most challenging naval logistics operation since the British deployed to the Falklands in 1982.
Finally, the @DeptofWar needs to directly address these issues. Have a press conference and show what is going on with the ships in the region.
