In 15 years powerlines will be obsolete.
My boomer neighbor was just telling me how a genx friend offered him a free tree and how he told the friend where he could plant it. Friend said he wouldn't plant it there because in 15 years it'll be in the power lines. Boomer says "what do I care? I want it there and in 15 years I'll be dead!" Then started laughing maniacally.
No tree was planted. Why are so many of them like this?
Elementary, Middle and High School. Then in college where you actually have to compete you're crippled.
I have a distinct memory of reading as a class in elementary school this book about a native american woman who lived alone on San Nicolas Island after her tribe was wiped out. I read the entire book in two class sessions and got in trouble when I was called on to read aloud during popcorn reading sessions, I would get so fucking bored sitting through "A-a-annd th-the wo-o-mmman s-said..." that i'd just read chapter after chapter by myself. Apparently this was a bad thing. Enforced mediocrity
And you, using his technology day by day, directly and indirectly; taxes both directly and indirectly; and keeping people blind or handicapped instead of helping them, are not? You will all come out ahead. The posters are probably the menaces on the road in need of FSD the most
Explaining the knowledge based economy, and why the knowledge based economy is against data centers with all of it's might.

ALT The real class struggle isn't capitalists vs workers. It's builders vs administrators. The productive class makes the products, the energy, the homes. The parasitic class lives off that surplus through taxes, permits and paperwork. Bernie Sanders is the perfect example: decades in office, never built anything.
These women act like politics is sports. They have the same reaction when bros HS football team gets the pennant. I bet this is uniquely American.
The thousands of dollars we take for kids and public schools per year per person is not enough. Can you please give us another $280 or round up for $300 to finally fix the problem once and for all?
Let me get this straight, there is a debate between homeschooling and taking kids out of schools, and on the other side there are schools that have no children at all.
Talk about polarization.

Gamers are begging for DST. Nothing ruins a ranked match like the sun setting at 4:45 pm. We were promised daylight until 9 pm so we could finally see the monitor glare.

Hala go back home.
How to fix elections. Children are the future. I should get a vote for how many kids I have. 4 kids then I get 5 votes. 1 kid, then I get 2 votes. Anti-natalist get just 1 vote. Don't disenfranchise my kids when this election means so much to them!
Last week the sun set before 6pm.
This week the sun is setting before 6pm.
Panic in the dark streets that the clock reverted to where it should be!
