We need far more politicians of this calibre. Well said @SuellaBraverman
This is superb from @SuellaBraverman. She tears SHREDS out of the govts dangerous decision to ignore safety concerns and house illegal migrants in Piddington.
She rightly calls out the fact there are NO female Labour MPs taking part in this debate.
She does NOT hold back! 🔥
Please relay your justification for stalling the approval of a visit to the UK by Eva @ukhomeoffice , @UKLabour .
Is it possibly because you don't like her views or what she says?
I seem to remember @Keir_Starmer telling @realDonaldTrump that we have #free #speech in the UK. Was he lying?
In January the UK revoked my ETA days after I criticised Keir Starmer, declaring me “not conducive to the public good.”
I’ve now been invited by MP @RupertLowe10 to come speak at a @RestoreBritain and the Home Office is stalling my visa application, effectively denying me entry again.
France just banned our @SaveEuropeAct cofounder @MartinSellner_ indefinitely as a “genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat” to public order. Same thing: no conviction, no trial.
This is a dangerous trend of two-tier enforcement: restricting the movement of law-abiding European patriots who criticize mass migration, while third-world migrants enter, claim benefits, and even gain citizenship.
The British public deserves to know about it, and the only politician prepared to do something about it is Rupert Lowe.

If senior people don’t feel they need to resign over the appalling, heartless police mistreatment of Henry Nowak as the eighteen-year-old student lay dying, then how bad would something have to be before senior people resigned?
Time was when honour demanded that conduct with heinous consequences led to the people ultimately responsible taking responsibility.
I am so sick of the Nothing to see here culture.

The central ones are for emergency vehicles to get down. They will unlock them and lower them. Will obviously mean the emergency is worse by the time they’ve done that, but diversity is our strength.

You’re supposed to be a Councillor representing everyone in your ward..
Now unless they’re all from Gaza .. which they aren’t what has that got to do with your job as a local Councillor 🤔
You didn’t mention what the Pakistani 🇵🇰 government has done to the 250K Afghan 🇦🇫 families in the last couple of years; many who’d escaped the Taliban..
who live on the border ..
They beat them up ..put them into lorries and dumped them in to Afghanistan 🇦🇫 in the middle of nowhere…
and that’s without the abuses which take place in your own community to women and girls under Sharia Law ..
I won’t mention the ‘rape gangs’ 🙄
I’m listening ?

THE INSPECTOR WHO INSPECTED TOO HONESTLY
Dr Shyam Kumar @ukorthopod is an orthopaedic surgeon. A good one. Unblemished record. So the Care Quality Commission (@CareQualityComm) recruited him as a part-time inspector to help hold NHS hospitals to account.
He took the job seriously. Too seriously, it turns out.
Between 2015 and 2019 he raised concerns about botched hospital inspections, a bullying culture inside the CQC itself, and a surgeon at Morecambe Bay whose hip replacement on an elderly patient left her unable to walk.
He asked the CQC to review that surgeon's cases. He was told the trust did not want to do so for reputational reasons.
A Royal College of Surgeons review later found problems with 26 out of 46 of that surgeon's operations.
The CQC's response to Kumar? They called his concerns fanciful. They dug for dirt on him. Then they sacked him.
In September 2022 a Manchester Employment Tribunal ruled he had been unfairly dismissed.
The tribunal found his safety disclosures had directly influenced the decision to get rid of him. The judgment noted that CQC officials spent their energy gunning him down rather than focusing on patient safety.
He was awarded £23,000 for injury to feelings.
Not damages for a ruined career. Not accountability for the officials who ran the smear operation. Just £23,000 and a declaration.
The CQC issued a statement saying it had learnt from the case and improved its processes. A decade earlier it said exactly the same thing after the Mid Staffordshire Public Inquiry found it had victimised its own whistleblowers then too.
The system that was built to protect patients ran a seven-year campaign against the man raising the alarm.
Then it said sorry and carried on.

Who are these "rogue" companies? Name them, I dare you
Because domestic gas and electricity suppliers have their profits regulated. They're not free to charge what they want
Network companies also have their revenues regulated. They also can't charge what they want
So who, specifically has gone rogue??
Or is this just another pathetic tactic to deflect from your failures
You'd do better to worry how we're meeting demand for the next 4 days during a forecast extended wind lull
(I bet you didn't even know about that until just now)

Why outlaw it? What a self destructive, pointless, virtue signalling thing to do. The government is determined to destroy this country. Who knows if we will desperately need it at some point.

Thank you to James O’Brien @mrjamesob for the free advertisement on LBC this morning.
The Free Speech Union was founded by Toby Young in 2020, two years after his own cancellation. In 2018, shortly after he was appointed to the board of the Office for Students on the strength of his work in education, the offence archaeologists launched a campaign against him. He was forced to resign from five posts, losing half his income and much of his reputation. He wished there had been an organisation he could turn to for help.
The FSU now has more than 50,000 members and has taken on more than 7,000 cases in six years. We receive between 40 and 70 new requests for help every week, and we have saved countless people from losing their jobs, their university places or their liberty simply for exercising their lawful right to free speech.
Often, the process is the punishment — we offer mental health support to our members who need it. The prospect of losing your job and livelihood over something you said can be extremely distressing. You can read the first report ever published on the mental health effects of cancellation by Carole Sherwood and Andrew MacLeod with a forward from Lord Young below.
It was in recognition of Toby’s work defending free speech that Kemi Badenoch nominated him for a peerage. That means the FSU can now do more than ever to protect free speech in Britain, at a time when it is under attack from all sides.
More than 60,000 people were arrested for “communications offences” between 2021 and 2025, a @BigBrotherWatch report found.
If the police turn up at your door and haul you into a cell for hours over something you’ve said online — as they did to Maxie Allen (@MaxieAllen) and Rosalind Levine — an FSU membership will be the best money you ever spend. We provided their lawyers, covered their legal fees and secured £20,000 in compensation and an admission of wrongful arrest from Hertfordshire Police.

Andy Burnham has met Muslim community leaders in Downing Street and accused his political rivals of using “unacceptable” language when discussing Islam.
This is not the first time senior Labour politicians have accused their political opponents of crossing the line when discussing Islam, its history and its practices.
Labour MPs have repeatedly branded opposition politicians who criticise Islam “Islamophobic”. Earlier this year, 26 Labour MPs reported Reform UK to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) over its comments about Islam.
Labour MPs also reported the Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary, Nick Timothy, to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards and accused him of being “Islamophobic”. He even faced calls for his sacking from the then Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, after criticising a mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square.
In a free country where blasphemy laws were abolished 18 years ago, politicians and private citizens must be free to criticise, question and debate any religion — including Islam.
But that was not the only revelation to emerge from the Downing Street meeting.
It has been reported that Angela Rayner told Muslim community leaders she was preparing to announce the appointment of an “anti-Muslim hostility” tsar.
Given that Rayner appointed five individuals to the Working Group tasked with drafting the “anti-Muslim hostility” definition, all of whom had troubling links to Islamist organisations, and that her department falsely claimed to have deleted all responses to its consultation on the definition, who on earth will she appoint?

I’ve just been listening to this (excellent) interview, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the authorities, the charities - and the government - know.
They KNOW full well that most of the men coming here illegally and claiming asylum are not genuine refugees.
They know. AND THEY DON’T CARE.
Because to them it’s more important to crush and replace an English culture they despise. They despise our traditions, our heritage - and maybe most of all they despise our white working class. And they particularly want to punish them for Brexit.
And because they are almost always more privileged, they can self-select into nicer houses, in nicer areas, with safer streets and better schools. So (as yet) they are completely protected from the consequences of their views. In fact they think they can have their cake and eat it.
So we are already in a kind of war.
A war with them.
“This is a multi-state sponsored invasion of Britain.”
@PatrickChristys breaks down how illegals get to Britain, from taxpayer-funded support in France to the British state’s unmarked coaches and police escorts waiting in Portsmouth.

I worked for John Lewis for 25 years, until I was sacked for personal opinions that the woke, modern John Lewis didn't agree with.
It was once a great company to work for and a true British institution.
The Christmas adverts were the highlight of the year. They captured the mood of the nation, they made us laugh and they made us cry, and everyone looked forward to the moment they were released.
This new advert says more about modern Britain than I think John Lewis intended. It captures entitlement and woke madness gone overboard. It captures zero discipline, no boundaries and no respect for the elderly.
The one thing this advert captures perfectly is how far this country has fallen.
That's my take, as someone who gave that company 25 years.
