I’m really enjoying youth ministry right now. We had a retreat last weekend and now I have five young men-in-training who are looking to me to share my come to Jesus stories and insights into a redeemed life. I must study my Bible more to be ready to meet them on their struggles.

Not quite. It’s not “not caring” what others think it’s “not reacting” and “not letting them notice” what you think about their actions. Observe, orient, decide and act accordingly.

This has happened to me. I swear sometimes we can communicate while we’re sleeping in that semi-awake state.
Husband is sleeping next to me. Has been for over an hour. I look at him and think "he's so cute... he is the most handsome cutest th-" and he OPENS HIS EYES. We startled each other. I said "sorry! I just looked at you" He mumbled "I heard your brain" and rolled over. Still asleep. The sealing ordinance comes with telepathy. That poor man has to listen to me yap when he's awake AND asleep.

Has the needle moved from “did not marry” to “did not know she married” yet?

I got tired of how so many sci-fi books are either pagan or secular. So I wrote one based on local arguments I saw 10 months ago about AI. Many plot themes have proven themselves to be apropos for our day. I hope I’m not too prescient.

I bought a bullwhip. Because America is the land of the free and I can learn how to do something cool like whip stuff if I want to, and I recently had a birthday. Already made a few overhand cracks and a few oopsies with the back. Stay tuned for more.

Dracula because it’s a good Christian horror book while Frankenstein was a polemic against Ben Franklin.

Was not an inspiration although I know the story. Theodore Keyes is a late character in the book, named such because theo and key.

Christianity is the best conspiracy of all time. I love conspiring with my fellows on how to help those who are lost and wandering, leading them toward the salvation of real love.

Betrayal of country is indeed greater. But don’t sell yourself short. You could always choose non-betrayal. 😉

A taco has the outer layer wrapped around three sides while a sandwich only covers the top and bottom.

The space launch is, and the ocean one can be comparable, but otherwise no. Because it’s not just a casket, it’s the plot, the marker, the outer burial container, the open/close fees, and the funeral director costs.
