In a decades long conflict in which one side murders concertgoers with a certain regularity, there is only one side musicians should be taking, and anything short of that is a moral failure.

Given what they did at Nova, a "free palestine" music festival seems in pretty poor taste.
Singer Hozier demands the Irish government approve visas for Gazan ‘students’ during Macklemore’s ‘Free Palestine’ concert. “And the government has not approved their visa applications… It’s baffling why it hasn’t been solved yet.”

Under Mao life expectancy for millions of Chinese was shortened...very abruptly. The Maoist "economy" was a shambles. And he took totalitarianism to an extreme only exceeded by his disciple Pol Pot.
Under “dictator” Mao, life expectancy in China increased by 30 years, literacy rates went from 20% to 70%, steel output grew from 1 million to 23 million tons, 47 million hectares of land was taken from landlords and given to peasants, and China was unified under a strong central state and got nuclear weapons. Despite his failures, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand why Mao is revered in China.

The new 120-seat Knesset will have more Palestinists elected to it than the number of Blacks and Latinos currently serving in the 100-seat US Senate. Enough with your lies, Jew Haters.

Reading 1873 now. Post econ crash, the scapegoating got going. Amazing how similar to today. There were 'writers' (pre influencer/pundit days) who churned sh$t out, who yearned for attention, for others to recognize their intellect. The Jew-hate stuff got attention.

The “apartheid state” has arab parties that holds seat in parliament? They're pretty terrible at apartheid
BREAKING: Exit polls show Netanyahu and Eisenkot blocs are set to be tied at 51 seats each, with Arab parties at around 18 seats.

Saadi just said “we Arabs in Israel are not Israelis, we belong to another nation, but you Israelis have to treat us as your equals and we don’t have to reciprocate (pledge allegiance to the state).” Irony is that most Arab Israelis refuse to see their hoods annexed to a prospective Palestinian state. They want to stay in Israel and make Israel Palestine. That’s way too complicated for White Americans like @ChrisVanHollen and @ChrisMurphyCT to understand, and yet, they’ve made this issue their thing.
Former MK Osama Saadi at the Joint List headquarters: “We dedicate this victory to our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem.” Prospective partners for a Zionist government?

this is not a small group of people on the left anymore, but a large, dominant faction without whom democrats can’t win elections. and there is no debating them, because they aren’t interested in changing your mind. they just earnestly want you to die.

how unusual is it for parties representing the people that a country is genociding to win a historic number of seats in a free election in the genocidal state?

Once the Castroite regime falls in Cuba (and may that be soon) some of these thugs will resurface as "academics" at universities in Spain, Brazil and even the Ivy League in the US.
One of the Cuban regime’s “diplomats” tried to intimidate UN staff into cutting our microphones as I exposed the regime for the world to see. When one of my American diplomats noticed what was happening, that same regime “diplomat” tried to intimidate him, too.

The 'problem' at the core of the Israeli state is that it's successful.
This is true. Except for the Arab parties, nearly all of Israel’s factions agree on one thing: opposing a Palestinian state. The problem isn’t just about Netanyahu. That’s always been a cop-out to distract from a much deeper problem at the core of the contemporary Israel state.

Just delightful videos of Bedouin Israeli voters riding camels to the polls, mostly to vote for Ra'am, an Islamist party with a Jewish #2 that could be the kingmaker in the election's outcome.

Arab-Israelis all over the country show up to the polls in historic numbers. Anti-Israel media can’t handle these videos and images because it calls out all their BS and propaganda. And yes, some of them arrive to the polls on CAMELS & DONKEYS!

This collapse is happening in Portland, Seattle, and other cities. These places haven't recovered from the COVID era, which gave us lockdowns, the George Floyd riots, and the de facto legalization of drug-and-crime-generating homeless encampments. A policy disaster.
Portland’s Royal Sonesta: bought for $108.3M in 2016. Now reportedly sold for $6.83M for 220 rooms—just $31,000 per key. A staggering 93.7% price collapse. This is what happens when government fails at public safety, downtown disorder spirals, Measure 110’s consequences go unaddressed, and Multnomah County’s mental-health system fails people in crisis. Tourism doesn’t thrive where visitors feel unsafe and downtown businesses struggle to survive. Portland didn’t get here by accident. Policy choices have consequences—and taxpayers, workers, businesses, and property owners are paying the price. @mitch4portland @pnwpolicyangel @TeacherTiff4PDX @kanalforpdx @MayorKWilson
