Is this the model of disinvestment being pursued by the @BJP4India Government????
If IDBI Bank's own capital is being used to facilitate its acquisition by Fairfax, serious questions arise about the fairness, transparency and public interest behind the proposed sale.
Why should a public institution's own financial strength become a means to transfer its ownership into private hands?
IDBI Bank was built with public money, strengthened by the hard work of its employees and trusted by millions of Indians.
IDBI Bank is not for sale. Public money must serve the public, not facilitate private ownership!
