Many $QURE bulls are posting this but has anyone looked at what it shows? None of the 4 comparisons were statistically significant (even without correcting for multiple comparisons which would require a much lower p value). Look at the error bars on those charts...
Working with other people has saved me so much time and energy. Since the start of 2025. Specific examples:
Rodrigo made me a system in early 2025 that sped up my work a lot. It translates and summarizes filings for my portfolio companies. This has been improved into a system that now saves me 75%+ time compared to manually going through filings.
Mike made a system in 2026 that tracks fund and PM level risk. It took my old, crude version and made it a bit more accurate. More important than accuracy, this saved me a lot of time - not just for all of our PMs, but even for my own portfolio. Mike also automated the fund's tax position estimate.
Sam added a whole new risk system, adding another layer of protection we didn't even have before.
Sam also filters through all PM candidates, passing on just the very top couple of percent of leads to me. In comparison, before I used to have to understand a lot of track records myself.
Luis handles most all interactions with our LPs. He also handles all of the accounting and administrator brain damage.
And finally, Drew, Jesus, Kyle and Andrew make all of the above possible, and more.
So far it's safe to say that what we've built has saved me a LOT of time, rather than being a distraction - something I am focusing on a lot.

Militia Capital is hiring a quantitative engineer in Austin.
AI is probably going to eat discretionary investing in the next 10 years.
We want to create AI tools and trading systems that distill and improve the judgment of our portfolio managers. We're not a HFT/MFT shop and don't expect to compete there; we're trying something different, which is to automate and trade on superior qualitative forecasts over weeks, months and maybe years.
We're looking for exceptional statistics/ML, problem-solving and engineering ability. Finance experience is optional. Exceptional graduates and candidates from other technical fields are welcome.
Pay: $275K base, $300K-$500K target bonus, depending mostly on your contribution to profits.
Email [email protected] with your resume and a short description of your hardest technical project (research, open-source work, etc.), ideally with a link to it.
I can't reply to everyone, and I apologize for that.

I like to spend money on:
1. Giving the best talent the very best deal, probably my biggest "expense" - but which actually works out purely selfishly, after studying it in a Google sheet.
2. Saving time.
3. Great food.
4. My lady. The highest ROI bucket!

The Curious Accounting of CuriosityStream
$CURI jumped 40% after reporting blowout Q2 earnings and 48% licensing growth. The 10-Q released the next day tells a very different story.
Of $14m licensing revenue, $5.3m was non-cash content swaps and $8.5m

3. They also have the situational awareness to kneecap an over leveraged fund and then pickup the pieces off the floor.

Imagine that?? Someone using their platform to influence stock prices to their own benefit.
I wonder if anyone else has done that in semis? Overplaying bottlenecks and pumping small caps aggressively? Then bragging about their returns. Hmm…
Be SemiAnalysis:
- Post a scathing piece on CPO delays + optical company valuations, causing a crash.
Which $NVDA, analyst desks, and major optical companies refuted
- Launch an institutional photonics ETF after optical names dropped 40-60%.

You've got to do a more methodical job of deleteing your previous wrong and smug top calls on Micron. There was a beautiful example from May which has just disappeared but still a few out there as far back as 2004.

barrel counters, ship watchers just posting through it, hoping that one more chart, one more scary headline about tank bottoms and jet fuel will shake gullible participants in the world's most important commodity market out of their stupor

Btw any explanation that’s premised on participants in the world’s most important commodity market being gullible dupes, I’m inclined to dismiss out of hand.
