Sam can pound sand
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

Factor out apprentices and then get back to me…
In the last few years it became a common right-wing culture war thing to start straight up lying about how much people in the trades make. The actual median salary is somewhere around 50-55k.

A really great social media influencer would be one who films himself throwing other social media influencers into traffic.

I’m not surprised at all this is how essential Men are viewed All those essential Men that keep the world from collapsing are viewed with scorn and hatred by those incapable of building and maintaining civilization I feel numb
What an absolute loser. 50 years old, 4 kids, a mortgage and he works as what, a grocery stocker? Women need to be WAY pickier about who they reproduce with. Maybe he could be chill if he were doing his little grocery stocking job as a single man.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The man in the video is a Red Baron representative stocking frozen pizzas in a grocery store. He stated he has four kids and struggles to pay his mortgage amid long hours; no reports confirm he is 50 years old, and the clip shows him responding to a prank. dexerto.com/entertainment/… gofundme.com/f/support-a-ha… x.com/MrLeadslinger/…

Not a fan of the Iran war. However we’d need almost 50 more to cover the cost of our current government healthcare which covers about 1/3 the population. Need to math better.
Instead… hear me out… America could’ve had free healthcare for everyone.

A brazillion Brazils couldn’t pull something like that off…
If the U.S. is harboring a fugitive from justice, is Brazil allowed to invade the U.S. and kidnap Flavio Bolsonaro like they did with Maduro in Venezuela?

I suspect that threatening to steal his companies and throw him in jail had something to do with it.
Elon Musk is dumping half a billion dollars into Republican races. Why? Because Democrats in Congress won’t be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and will actually fight to lower costs.

We’re entering an endless cycle of political lawfare. America has never needed a complete overhaul of its political system more than it does now.
One more thing to add to the list of questions for Musk when I subpoena him.

There was an entire cottage, survivalist industry in the 70s into the 80s. I think people react this way in order to instill a sense of control over potential or imagined events they have zero control over. Less about actual preparation, more about catharsis.
To go a little further: Survivalism is inherently an adversarial, hyperindividualistic enterprise - of its nature, it doesn’t scale. Cabins in the woods with MREs and guns work for some people for some time - if everyone attempted it at once, there would be mass starvation. (Depending on logistics, any attempt at mass preparation is potentially indistinguishable from the shortage it is designed to prepare for and the panic it is meant to avert.) Given this, it’s actually a form of End Times or Rapture prophecy - the chosen few will survive; for all others, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Scaled-up survivalism is called having a functioning state. Without that level of organization, your 14-day stockpile of food and gasoline runs out on day 15, your potato patch gets taken by whoever’s militia gets there first, and there aren’t enough animals in the forest to hunt. As to that, if somebody in the admin knows something, it’s their job to take charge of the resources of the whole country and allot them optimally - or they don’t deserve their job. Or, they need to stop this nonsense.

Lots of people forgetting that giant corps essentially shut off the Internet for any customer they felt was insufficiently condemnatory of the Jan 6 riots They hadn't even broken any written rule. They just didn't like them so no Internet for them. Starlink's policy is way more clear and fair.
The reality is this completely devalues Starlink. If one man can arbitrarily shut off your Internet, it's less dependable than your already hit or miss Internet connection.

Weird that the left is the party of indentured servitude and not the party of fair pay for hard work.
Good news, red staters. Lots of jobs now open to pick fruit and vegetables in the broiling sun on minimum wage

He gave some great, JFK type speeches in 2006. Then he ran the most underwhelming Presidency. His FP mirrored the neocons, his greatest achievements domestically are destroying 700k otherwise fine used cars and driving the cost of health insurance through the roof. Kinda sad.
I can’t believe we ever got excited about ‘Barack Obama.’ I think about it and it just fills me with embarrassment and shame.

JUST IN: UK police arrest 15 y/o boy, seize his devices, & collect his DNA after he posted photo of a local politician edited to look like a rabbit.

Back in 2008, 53% of Californians voted for the high speed rail project. Today, after 18 years of absolutely deranged delays and cost overruns, 62% support it. California is broken because Californians like it that way.
