Here is The Foliage Report's latest map for Alaska as of August 20, 2025.
As many know, Alaska is the first U.S. state to show fall colors and I can now confirm there is low color showing from northern Alaska's tundra.

Here is a look at snow totals across our area and the state based on reports received after the event. Thank you to everyone who sent in snow measurements this morning!
ALT This map shows snow totals across the Wakefield County Warning Area. There is a large swath of 3 to 5 inches spanning from the southwest counties through the Eastern Shore. In the southeastern counties, as well as the northern counties, snow totals range from 1 to 3 inches.
ALT This image shows the snow totals across the state of Virginia. The highest snow totals are in the western part of the state, and in the swath spanning from south-central VA to the Eastern Shore that had between 4-6". The remainder of the state received roughly 0.5-3".

Markets are pricing in a bunch of different things right now with the price action we are seeing in various sectors...
- $BTC down
- Solar $ENPH $SEDG up
- Mag 7 all red besides $NVDA, $GOOGL giving back most of it's gains and $AMZN had to deal with Bezos selling $3B worth of stock on Friday
- $TLT up on the idea that investors will buy bonds
- Oil stocks $XLE up since oil prices are +3% today
- $SMCI was down 7% and that dip got bought up and is now green
& then we have $DJT which was down 5% now up 15% today
Market has no clue what to expect for tomorrow.
