Made HackerNews for sports because I was sick of missing all the cool stuff everyone was making. Hooked up to a bunch of Substack RSS feeds, arXiv, Twitter, sports data Kaggle comps, your personal website, etc. Submit your own links, upvote other stuff, you know the deal.

I wanted NBA tracking data I couldn’t afford.
So I wrote a C# scraper and put 632 games on GitHub in 2015.
A decade later: at least 49 research works have used it, including 5 @SloanSportsConf studies and papers at @NeurIPSConf, @icmlconf, @iclr_conf & @CVPR.
