Who are these "rogue" companies? Name them, I dare you
Because domestic gas and electricity suppliers have their profits regulated. They're not free to charge what they want
Network companies also have their revenues regulated. They also can't charge what they want
So who, specifically has gone rogue??
Or is this just another pathetic tactic to deflect from your failures
You'd do better to worry how we're meeting demand for the next 4 days during a forecast extended wind lull
(I bet you didn't even know about that until just now)

Siedem dni to rozpętania piekła w Polsce !!!

*sigh* because the British press hasn’t spelt this out I will. (Is it spelled or spelt?)
Anyway … The EU believes its law takes precedence over Poland’s sovereign law (even its Constitution, wherever EU law applies)
Poland’s Constitution says it is the SUPREME law of the country (I agree)
Now Donald Tusk’s is battling his own people over control of Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal, with police on the streets and the court’s leadership removed (because they disagreed with the EU’s position).
the European Commission is, of course, backing Tusk on the appointment of judges. ( as long as they agree with the EU position)
Brussels insists the Tribunal must respect rulings of the EU Court of Justice (because they believe their rule is superior to sovereignty)
AND They dare to call this “defending the rule of law”
And THIS ladies and gentlemen is why I voted to leave. You’re welcome 🔥

Such ignorance, @MichaelRosenYes
Caribbean sugar did not generate vast wealth for Britain nor did it drive industrialisation
As I had to explain to KehindeAndrews, sugar amounted to 2.5% of net British national income
Coal, sheep farming, the woolen industry, and iron were far more valuable
In 1770, the peak year for sugar, sugar only accounted for 3% of capital formation. If sugar was such a hot commodity it would have accounted for a FAR higher %.
In fact, Scottish & Irish flax and linen were much more of a revenue generator for the British economy than sugar
The reality is that the contribution of sugar to the British economy was the same as for barley and hops - and I don't recall anyone saying that beer was fundamental for the Industrial Revolution.

Farmers also warning that this "reset" will threaten food security. 👇
The EU prohibits the use of herbicides essential to crop production in Britain.
Comments from farming community:
“British farmers and growers must retain access to science-based plant protection products that help protect food being grown from pests and diseases.”
“This comes at a time when we are all thinking about food security and we’ve been told to stockpile food, but if we end up with less productive agriculture that’s a real danger.”

Labour have given away the farm with their awful agrifood deal with the EU.
No say in the laws, a rubber stamp parliament, and a massive bill. If anything is 'hard Brexit', it's that.

I’d love to know how the fact that Tippu Tip, an Afro-Omani slave trader, owning 7 plantations & 10,000 slaves in 1895 is a ‘decontextualised victim-blaming white supremacist lie.’
I’d also love to know how the King of Dahomey protesting to a British officer over abolition that:
“The slave trade has been the ruling principle of my people. It is the source of their glory and wealth. Their songs celebrate their victories and the mother lulls the child to sleep with notes of triumph over an enemy reduced to slavery,”
Is a decontextualised victim-blaming white supremacist lie.

Friedrich Engels, the trust-fund kid who spent forty years bankrolling the man who called capitalism exploitation. Ironic.
Engels inherited co-ownership of Ermen & Engels, a Manchester cotton mill, in 1864. He worked there as a partner, managed workers, collected profits, and wired money to Marx in London for decades. Marx, meanwhile, wrote about the immiseration of the proletariat from rented rooms his friend's textile workers paid for. Marx fathered a child with his unpaid housekeeper, Helene Demuth, denied paternity, and let Engels take the blame publicly for years. Engels obliged. The man was a doormat with a trust fund.
Marx himself produced almost nothing marketable. "Das Kapital" Volume One appeared in 1867; he never finished Volumes Two and Three. Engels assembled them from Marx's notes after his death in 1883. The great theorist of historical inevitability couldn't finish his own book.
Two men, one the son of a factory owner and the other a chronic debtor who borrowed from his own mother, invented a theory that claimed capital accumulation is theft. Engels accumulated capital. Marx stole from everyone around him, privately and personally, before proposing to do it systematically at gunpoint through the state.
Every currency debased, every factory nationalized, every famine engineered under regimes waving their banner traces back to two comfortable Europeans who never once went hungry because prices rose, stood in a breadline, or dug a mass grave for dissidents.

The EU food regulation Agreement means hitting the 90% plus of UK companies that do not export with extra red tape and costs. It is likely to boost EU exports to us more than our exports given the big trade deficit we run already. More self harm.

Even small local bakeries that never trade with the EU will have to follow EU rules on ingredients, packaging, and nutritional information. Industry compliance costs are estimated at £2 to £3 billion. They will also face additional compliance costs every time the EU changes its rules.
UK taxpayers will also have to pay the EU for its policy work to create and enforce these rules on UK firms. This could be up to £3 billion a year, every year.

🚨 Maski opadły❗ Komisja Europejska oficjalnie wsparła bandyckie działania Tuska i siłowe przejęcie Trybunału Konstytucyjnego❗
Oto prawdziwa twarz Komisji Europejskiej, wielkich "obrońców demokracji".

Okay, let’s tackle the $45 trillion LIE properly. British India:
Growth deposits within the Imperial banking system sat at 1.19 (Rs billion) in 1870. This increased to 7.88 in 1939.
Between 1896-1913 annually, financial savings were 2-3 % GNI. By 1940-46, this increased to 3.3%.
When Britain arrived to the subcontinent, formal education was virtually 0%. In 1891-92 primary school education was 8.1%. By 1947, this rose to 43%. Secondary schools & colleges were 2,133 in 1881, rising to 4,904 by 1921-1922.
Interest rates for peasant loans were 30-40% in the early 1770s. This decreased to 10-37% for 1930-35.
In 1886, irrigation in British India was 23,098,822 acres. This increased to 51,317,373 acres in 1936. Cultivated agricultural areas were 237,249 square miles in 1870 & 401,368 square miles by 1939.
Irrigated & cultivated land sat at 12.4% in 1885-86, rising to 22.1% in 1938-39.
Railway route miles totalled 838 miles in 1860. By 1940, it was 41,852 miles.
The population was 170 million in 1750; it was 425 million by 1950.
Death rates in 1881-91 sat at 40-42 per 1000. By 1931-41 this dropped to 30-32 per 1000. From 1941-51, another drop to 25 per 1000.
Child labour employment in factories was 6% in 1891, dropping to 0.6% by 1938. In 1850, factory employment was near zero, rising to 2 million by 1940.

I know you're a convicted criminal but must you also commit crimes against scholarship?
1. Your last line shows your post is AI generated
2. Tax payers did NOT pay enslavers' bill for 180 yrs*
3. UK did NOT drain $45 trillion**
You are as ridiculous as ever
* The £20 million payment to free the slaves was paid off long before 2015 (it may have been paid off as early as the 19th century but was almost certainly paid off during the 20th century). You are basing your claim on a poorly phrased Treasury tweet which has since been clarified.
** The ludicrous claim that Britain stole $45 trillion from India comes from Marxist Utsa Patnaik's biased calculation, which compounds estimated colonial transfers at 5% interest over generations, producing this ridiculous nonsensical sum rather than the actual amount Britain received.
Do your own research and writing next time instead of relying on AI. This is utterly embarrassing.
