Claude duet? Powered by Opus 5.5? Count me in..
Yup it's over for Dots.. the only competition it'll have will be from Grok bot.. since Elon announced that they'll also use Opus 5.5 in Grok bot.. and it has a larger ecosystem built around it..
Sad that it's US only for noww ;)

I thought it was Fable 5.5, but nope. Just Anthropic telling us we can now use Claude to update our code in real time to defend against attacks from other Claude models that people will inevitably use against us.
(AND TRUST ME, THEY WILL!)

4 AI labs in 10 weeks…
all chasing the exact same product
→ Aug 11: SpaceXAI ships Grok Bot
→ Sep 8: Meta ships Muse
→ Sep 29: OpenAI ships Dots
→ today: Anthropic opens Claude Duet
every one is an agent with its own cloud computer that keeps working while you're gone and messages you when it needs you
the model race has become an autonomy race. the giants aren't competing on how smart the frontier models are anymore.
they're competing on how rarely the agents bug you and how much you can trust them when they take action.
they're all racing to build Jarvis.
full independence is in our future bros, but trust comes first.
even Anthropic's own launch thread says Duet can still misjudge what's urgent, with the mighty glorious Opus 5.5 driving it.
the stakes are real. in internal testing, Meta's Muse pulled someone's personal iCloud photos when it was only asked to identify toys at a kid's birthday party.
that's the whole AI race now:
Jarvis for the masses
and it won't be the fanciest one that wins. it'll be the one your mom and grandma never have to set up.
the intuitive and trusted one.

Mark Zuckerberg says 10 million people set up Muse agents in six weeks, a quarter use it daily, and shopping volume was so far above expectations that Meta and Stripe had to raise credit limits in week one
“In just a month and a half, more than 10 million people in the U.S. and Canada have set up Muse personal agents. Growth continues to be strong, and we have been number one in the app store almost every day."
"Engagement and retention are also off to a strong start. About 25% of people who have set up Muse use it on any given day. For our earliest adopters, the longer that they use Muse, the better that retention seems to get."
"So to put this in perspective, this is more than twice the level that Threads started at, or where we believe that other AI apps started at as well."
"The most common use case for Muse is shopping, with more than a quarter of people who are using Muse engaging in this, with an average purchase size of over $200. Plaid told us that they hadn’t seen activity like they’re seeing with their connector on any other service before."
"And in the first week, we had to work with Stripe to raise credit limits since the volumes were above what any of us expected.”
Alexandr Wang reveals Meta CFO Susan Li pulled him aside "many times" at an exec offsite in Hawaii to warn that if the model didn't work, it would be very, very bad in financial terms
ZUCKERBERG: "So I think this is part of the excitement of booting up a frontier lab now, where it is basically like the ante is extremely high."
WANG: "And I think this is, and I kind of viscerally remember this. We were in Hawaii at the end of last year. It was kind of like the whole exec team got together."
"And yeah, Susan pulled me aside many times and was like, you know, I just want to tell you if this doesn't work, this is going to be really, really bad. It's going to be very, very bad in financial terms."
"It's like, it has to be good. If it's good, it's all good. We're great. But if it's bad, it's really, really, really bad."

I highly recommend cloudflare's security audit skill: github.com/cloudflare/securi…
Run it on all your software. Run it with the free models. Use it even if you used a model to audit something - it will find much more things. Works in all agent harnesses and is model independent.

Tesla Q3 2026 Earnings Call: here's the full Grok Bot summary
1. People want more Teslas than Tesla can build
- Elon kicked off the call with it: "Demand is growing rapidly for our vehicles. It's exceeding our production by a significant margin"
- The car backlog is now the highest in four years
- FSD is the biggest reason people are buying: "there's really no competitor for FSD in any car that you can buy"
- FSD approval across the EU is a few months away, by Q1 at the latest
- Tesla is on track to build about 5 million vehicles a year by around 2030
2. Robotaxi: "It looks like a rocket going to orbit"
- The Cybercab fleet in Austin is already about 10x bigger than at launch roughly a month ago
- Dallas gets Cybercab next month, and Austin is getting flooded with them: "swarm Austin with Cybercabs everywhere"
- Rides will soon run until 2am, and fully 24/7 by the end of the year
- Robotaxi becomes a real revenue line in 2027, turning into "a big deal" by Q3 or Q4
- Wherever Tesla is allowed to operate freely, it will end up doing "a majority of all passenger miles on Earth"
- The path to a cost of just $0.30 per mile is clear, far cheaper than a human-driven ride
3. Cybercab production
- Every Cybercab built right now goes straight into Tesla's own ride fleet, with sales to customers targeted by the end of 2026
- Most Cybercabs will stay Tesla-owned, so you just ride one when you need it, as "transport-as-a-service"
- It's built with "50% fewer parts" than any Tesla before, which makes it faster and cheaper to build
- The production line can make far more than the listed 125,000 a year
4. FSD
- Starting around Q2 2027, owners can add their own cars to the Robotaxi fleet through the V15 software release
- Tesla is building its own SI-based maps and navigation
- More than 75% of new buyers in North America now pay for FSD at delivery
- Over 1.7 million people pay for FSD, half of them on monthly subscriptions
- That's close to $1 billion a year in recurring FSD revenue
5. Optimus: "Biggest product on Earth"
- Optimus robots are now coming off Tesla's high-volume line in Fremont
- The goal is 20,000 robots a week, reached in "at least a year, maybe a little longer"
- Other companies can start buying Optimus around the end of 2027
- A video of Optimus doing tasks it was never pre-programmed for is coming in a month or two
- Tesla's next-gen AI5 chip goes into Optimus around April 2027
- The hand is the hardest engineering problem, and that's where the remaining work is
6. Terafab: Tesla making its own chips
- Equipment goes into the Austin chip fab in the first half of 2027, with the first test chip around May or June
- Full production starts in late 2028
- Investment of "tens of billions," and "north of 100 billion" over the long term
7. Energy, Semi and Roadster
- Megapacks are "almost sold out" for all of 2027
- Energy gross margin jumped to 33.1%
- Tesla Semi production has started at the new factory in Reno
- The Roadster demo: "arguably the coolest demo of any product ever"
8. Money
- About $20B in capex this year
- Up to $30B in borrowing capacity secured, with no plans to touch it this year
- Investment climbs to "tens of billions" in 2028 as Tesla builds the future

The Xbox Ally handhelds and Xbox Series X|S consoles are about to get a big AMD-shaped performance boost, thanks to FSR 4.1.
Its flagship upscaling tech is coming "soon", but what does that really mean? Well, it's actually sooner than you might think.

I worked really hard on this! Excited to share it with you all. This has fundamentally changed the way I use Claude and AI in general.
I used Claude Duet to build itself. It proactively notified me that a change I made was broken! I had missed it in my sea of slack notifications. Already loving this new way of collaborating with Claude.
Chris Black | Azure MVP | Happy Azure Stacking! retweeted
there we go! Anthropic launches their personal agent to compete with Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots.
Duet will be a 24/7 persistent agent that guesses what you want, works on your tasks independently (no hand-holding needed) and self-improves over time.
a huge advantage is this works off your existing claude accounts memory and context so you don't need to teach it about yourself like you did for muse.
i cannot wait to use this, expecting big things.

Microsoft Purview DLP can now scan what people type into Copilot, not just the files Copilot reads. If a prompt contains a sensitive information type, built-in or custom, it can be blocked before it's processed.
That's a meaningful shift. For years, data loss prevention watched documents and email. Now it watches the conversation.
But like everything else in Purview, it only enforces what you've defined. If you've never reviewed which sensitive information types your organization actually uses, start there.

Everyone who said Claude Code was randomly compacting chats was 100% right:
Anthropic just pushed v2.1.305 + v2.1.306 to fix two nasty bugs:
1. Sessions with multiple MCP tools were disguising normal API errors as "prompt is too long" and forcing unneeded auto-compaction
2. /effort and /autocompact settings were ignored on [1m] model variants
Bonus in v2.1.305: press "f" inside /usage to auto-apply quota-saving fixes.
Did you update your CLI yet??
